Ok lots to say here mostly griping though lol

It may 'seem' like I am not tatting much but I am :)

I stayed up last night allthough I was a bit tired I was tatting and I was nearly done with what i was working on THIS happened

lets just say as tired as I was I started to tear up and went to bed.

Then today the cutest thing happened Ginger was laying on the floor on top of some blankets we use for sitting on chairs etc... Ned was walking around and seen her laying there all comfy and he was doing what appeared to be digging at the blankets he stopped looked at Ginger and she licked him on the nose :) then he layed down it was too darn adorable I got up and peeked and he covered her up

Then my dryer was done so I got the blankets out and put them on my tatting chair that Ginger claims as her throne went to get a drink and come back and see this

the queen claimed the nice warm and clean blankets as her perch.

We are getting ANOTHER storm with possible high winds of atleast 50  mph... LOVELY!

Its already getting real windy here, its cold.

I am in pain today for 2 reasons

1. last week or week and a half whatever, I was laying in bed on my left side and went to move and heard a crack, for a second i thought it was my shoulder cracking or something then I felt PAIN in my ribs, that side of my ribs always gives me trouble I dont know why it could be the bottom rib bone sticks out weirdly the doctor had told me when I was pregnant with my daughter that it was mis-shapen nothing to worry about, it does over lap at times (my mom has it too) and feels like it goes out of place well I did something to that rib dont know what its still bothering me, with the cold today its not helping AT ALL!!

2. yesterday we had lovely ICE on the porch and stairs well I was taking the doggies out Ned gets tied and Ginger i let her walk and do her thing but I have to go out with her or she wont do her business. I slid from the top step to the bottom (only 4 stairs) and landed on my tail bone, I about cried because when my son was 6 months old (he is almost 10 now) I fell down the stairs and busted up my tail bone so yea it didnt feel too good. I am a mess LOL

Not really things could always be worse. I am alive and breathing, I have my family... I have my tatting friends :)

I can imagine the kids wont have school tomorrow due to the storm and high winds. SEVERE WEATHER is what all the stations are calling it, yep just good ol PA weather lol

I will show you this though a little something I am working on...

If you dont hear from me for a day or so we may loose power (i hope not) with the winds its highly possible.

WOW I just got finished typing out the final lady pattern now just waiting on them to come back to me with my I can imagine MANY MANY boo boo's lol

Monday Blah Blah

Well I spent most of the day in front of this computer, tsk tsk tsk I know but it was spent wisely. I messed around on Face book for awhile talking to a few friends, messing around etc... but then I got with my ladies book some more and I only have 4 more to type out. may not seem like alot but they are big patterns and get a bit confusing.

My poor nose and eyes are still sore from my recent bomb making. My calls to the president went un answered ohhh well I had big dreams for a moment there ROFL

we are now getting sleet, freezing rain and snow all at once LOVELY!! GRRRR

Everyone is gone today school and work... Allthough I love the peace and quiet I miss them, dont tell them that though lol

I had a good weekend got lots of odds and ends done and spent some much needed time with my hubby allthough we are usually here together I felt like last week we werent here together. Those of you who are married for over 11 years and still head over heels and get butterflies in your tummy know what I am talking about its the little things that matter most, here I am getting all mushy so sorry. LOL

I got Chili cookin in the crock pot I may give out my recipe tomorrow WHO KNOWS I usually just make up my own recipes for everything.

I ordered me some new shuttles, thread, hook pen, and books I am so excited to get all my goods.

The afternoon tatting book has gotten 2 new additions, you know when you make something and it looks sort of like something else and you cant get it out of your head, yep that is what happened to me AGAIN!!! sigh!

DANGER * Smoke Bomb *

Did you know that cleaning your bathroom can be toxic, therefore I vow to never do it again ROFLOL yea right...
Anyways I got laundry going, burger cooking for chili, and decided while the burger gets nice and brown I would clean up my bathrooms, WELL some idiot (who me?? nooooo) put THE WORKS toilet cleaner in the toilet to soak (i love that stuff it cleans EVERYTHING) anywhoo without thinking I grabbed my Mr Clean (with febreeze) and sprayed and began cleaning and all of a sudden there was smoke, OMG FIRE FIRE in the toilet?? no APPARENTLY mr clean and the works DO NOT get along, once I caught a whiff of that I almost instantly threw up yuk!! I turned on the bathroom fan and got out of dodge. my poor nose is bleeding now too a little bit, and my eyes are burning, YIKES that was horrible. See that is why cleaning your bathroom is toxic. I wish I could vow to never do it again, but no one else will :(
Allthough my recent accidental discovery could be a useful BOMB, or tear gas, I wander if I should contact our President and tell him of this recent find?? I could make millions, and be famous ohhhhhhh and that means I could buy any tatting item I wanted when I wanted.

I have a really bad case of wannado

Watch out it could be catchy. I dont really know for sure but if you end up with it dont blame me I gave you forewarning LOL

Today starts Lent and you are supposed to give something up or do something, I said to hubster last night 'what should I give up?' without thought he said 'TATTING' I gave him a look that would probably kill most men but he is used to it he knows when to look away before sudden death comes to him. I told him to give up the car then (we only have 1 vehicle at the moment) so I could go when / if I needed to. He decided to be a smart a## and say 'well I was gonna just give up work' ha ha he got the look again... I said well I really think I should give up being maid / mother / and wife until Easter. That way I can do MORE tatting, I got so many things I 'wanna do' That is when Dave said you have a bad case of the wannado's then he asked me 'just how many """'''projects'''""" do you have in the making OOoopppppsss!!??!! i told him to just be quiet and mind his own business it is my problem not his... So this led me to a litte quest, just how many different projects do I have going. YIKES Lets see the Tatted Ladies book is getting finished, Working on Afternoon Tattings, Tatted Winter Fun book 2 is in the works, Kaleida Tats is started, plus 10 other odd pieces I started and stopped only to be on to another... I told him only 14 if not more were left in limbo. He rolled his eyes. So I told him I knew what I was doing for lent, I am giving up house work, mother hood, and wifey duties... Sound good?? YEA RIGHT like that will ever happen ROFL

I am so sick of this weather, I normally love snow but Grrrr! Its been snowing and snowing and snowing ohhh did I mention ITS BEEN SNOWING.
We are to get 2-5" today 2-5" tomorrow and ANOTHER storm coming in GROWL!!
I am definately in a funk along with what my son is doing and some of the crap-ola my 30 year (i mean 3 year) old sister is doing to my mother, my mind races all the time about everything. I worry about my mom, I worry about my son and daughter, I know she feels hurt by what he does too and does get less attention :(
The weather has got me DOWN DOWN DOWN in the dumps. Stupid winter, Stupid snow. BLAH!!

What can I say I havent tatted yet today but its only 9:33pm lol I was working on items for my books today so its not like I didnt do anything tatting related lol

Sucess & Dissappointment

SUCESS!! I got the pattern to cooperate for the earrings

But I am not done with it I got many ideas before its released. STAY TUNED!!

I was a bit dissappointed when my photos didnt get chosen ohhhh well I thought it wasnt fair that some professional photographers were included but that is life.

I did look into online study courses for photography one in peticular caught my eye but after the phone call from the VERY PUSHY man wanting me to enroll NOW to start on Thursday i told him I would have to talk to David and he pretty much said ohhh why would you need to do that. Hmmmmm wander why when we are paying for it UGH!! Whatever it was very very pricey so that one is out for now I am not real sure if I want to do that right now.

I am looking for a pattern tester who is ready to tat a few small items when I email them. They are simple small things for 'something' I am working on

Storms, Frustration and ADHD

Snow, what can I say we got 26" Saturday along with the past 2 days another 15" and ITS STILL SNOWING. I like snow but c'mon this is a bit rediculous. Got some neat photos though, the kids were off school the past 2 days, hubby is off today all due to weather. They have barely plowed our roads here so I can imagine they will be impassable for awhile.

Frustration- remember my tatting tea tuesday possible new design thingy do. WELL I have been trying and trying and yes TRYING with fail to make it work properly, see I am using the shuttle but trying to make it as simple as can be. I am just putting it aside for today. Maybe then I will have that a-ha moment tomorrow or another day. There are my failed attempts with the last one being the most dissapointing I decided to use size 20 or 30 thread not exactly sure which it was, i got to the last ring and the thread pulled and it looked like poo. Grrrr that was last night I put it down and went to bed so dissappointed in myself.

ADHD- My son, grrrrrrr!! I will not go in to too much detail because I just dont want to, but I spent about an hour and a half on Tuesday night questioning him on some 'things' I heard from a teacher that he done, All I got were lies, lies and more lies I was soooooooo frustrated and angry, so finally after that hour and a half he started telling the truth, he is on punishment for a long time, also discovered yesterday that he has been stealing food again, he of course spent about an hour this time lying to me, more punishment has been added, i made him shovel some snow yesterday (it was light and fluffy snow so not that big a deal) today he did a little bit, and is helping do quite a few things here too. I dont sleep really well due to some of his out bursts, especially when he hurts himself (not badly) but still, His helpers told him as David and I have if he keeps up the hurting himself and things like that he could be taken out of the home and placed in a different kind of home and only be allowed here certain times. That would kill me, despite all of the crap that boy puts me through I would just be broken without my son here. I have been tatting but at the moment I am keeping it under wraps but I may cave and show it soon though I am not good at secrets LOL

So I am a mess, the weather is a mess, my house is a mess. JUST A MESS EVERYWHERE lol

I vented now I am done time to get the monsters some lunch and hopefully I can tat a little between laundry and other stuff.

Tatting Tea Tuesday February 9, 2010

Not real productive on the tatting end BUT I only have 2 more ladies to draw out and then get them typed up completely for my book WOOOOO HOOOOOO
I also got all my tax information ready that took about 4 hours to do today, thank god its done.
This is something I came up with after about 4 failed attempts it still needs tweaked and perfected

I am hoping to get more tatting done tomorrow, the kids may be off school if we get all the snow we are supposed to get AGAIN!!

Today I also entered 4 of my photos well I entered 1 today and will do 1 more each day for the next 3 days you can only enter 1 per day in a photo contest, you all know my addiction to photography and of course tatting. the photo contest is being held by Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond, I love her blog LOVE LOVE LOVE her blog she is so funny and smart and creative and has AWESOME recipes too.

Anyways here are my entries, they are dealing with Shallow Depth-of-Field I dont really care if I win anything, its fun!!

What a day What a storm...

WOWser!! here at my house we measured 26" of snow from yesterday afternoon until noonish when it finally stopped snowing. WOW...
I awoke to the heat off, brrrrrr it was chilly in here a whopping 59*F LOL I got the kids up at 5:30 to have them get in warm clothes, the power wasnt off we thought the gas was out but no and I thought ~I wander if the vent thingy do outside on the roof was covered? I didnt say anything because I felt like a dork, I was trying to read the manual the trouble shooting section and it said the same thing so I told David and he cleared off the roof some and IT WORKED so we are cozy warm.
I woke up with a really bad sore throat, I thought maybe I slept with my big trap open, but no I didnt. :( ohhh well I feel like crappy lol I was outside for awhile taking some photos and the kids had to play in the deep stuff while hubby plowed. Right now I am sitting here planning on tatting here soon too. The snow has stopped, i kind of wish it still were, I am weird I love the snow.
I guess I better get off here if I want to get some tatting done

WOW is it really Friday already...

Well we are to get another storm, I love the snow and winter BUT lately its been wearing on me, sigh.

This week is one I want to get behind me though.

Sunday my son was in rare form long story short he got scolded for his attitude and fit towards me and he hurt himself not bad but left scabs on his face :( I hate when he does that...

Monday the kids were off school, Nate went with his TSS worker for 5 hours is was quiet with just me and Shannan but busy

Tuesday Nate had 2 appointments his outpatient and his eval which had me a bit more nervous this time due to the fact that its a possibility that he will get cut from his mental health program :( our governor put a major cut in services. makes me mad but whatever.

Wednesday kids in school and me vehicle less AGAIN plus havent been feeling well was thinking I was getting a UTI so that had me a bit worried

Thursday was feeling a bit better so I went for a hike for an hour and a half it was WONDERFUL I got some nice shots if you are on face book with me just check in my photos you will find them.

Friday -TODAY ahhhhhh! Dont feel too bad today but I got a headache I have been working on some new designs all week with todays being a bit of a bugger. I am trying to stay on the same wave-length with my recent creations all I am saying is that each one will have 9 beads, dont ask why 9 it just is lol BUT I was working on 1 piece and it kept looking like something else at the start which got me side tracked and messed up so I decided to just go with it so now the frustration has set in again it dosent want to work but persistence always pays off lol

Ok off to have a bit of lunch and of course tat some more, what did you think I was going to do housework lol
