Well first I will tell you I trip on anything LOL Saturday after my MIL left to go back to the nursing home, we got her over here for lunch, we try to do that a couple times a year usually just on the holidays, we all had a good time. After Dave left to do that I went out to check the mail and take some pictures, well me being the klutz that I am stepped wrong on a rock twisted my ankle and then fell and scraped my other leg HA HA!! Its just a normal thing I do anymore. So its been really sore and swollen, which gives me time to tat I guess ;)

Has anyone ever done this, got themselves a cup of coffee or tea and sat down to tat and get so into the tatting that you leave the coffee sit and get cold. I always do that, Dave just laughs at me and without asking takes my coffee and re-heats it. He spoils me sometimes LOL. He just laughs at my tatting addiction, and my clumsyness.

I'm not a coffee drinker, but what happens to me is sometimes I get myself a bowl of cereal, pour on the milk, and after a few spoonfuls I get so busy I forget about the cereal - till it's a soggy mess, LOL.
I used to know what hot coffee tastes like LOL I think it still exists somewhere ;)
I have also done that with the cereal YUK!
I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself any more than you did! I think all of us klutzes should just sit down and tat... we could avoid bruised and swollen ankles, broken arms, etc. Sound like just what the doctor ordered! ; )
My solution to keeping the coffee from getting cold... I allow myself one sip after each ring and each chain. At least I get to drink part of it while it's hot!
