25 Motif challenge 7 of 25

I really think this peticular one is my favorite
It took me several days and many tearing aparts later to get it right
the first one looked so funny that I am not even gonna show you lol
Can you guess what they are ??
FUSCHIA'S ~ they arent the greatest but I think they turned out ok
used a size 10 thread and 5 needle
:::BASE PATTERN FOR STEM:::
This part is a bit tricky well for me it was anyways because I never attempted it before :)
R: 1-1-1-1-1-1 cl
-1+(p)-1+(p) continue this way around you must put a picot before you do the ds or you may get lost like I did on my first several attempts lol pull each row as you go to make the stem piece. continue until you have about 1/2" and you should have 6p around if not just add one in I am not a master pattern writer lol
cut tie hide ends
CH: + at any picot...1-1+1-1+1-1+1-1+1-1+1-1+at beginning you should still have 6 picots
cut tie hide ends
CH: + at any picot... 1-1-1+1-1-1+1-1-1+1-1-1+1-1-1+1-1-1+at beginning you should now have 12 picots
cut tie hide ends
LEAVES
**CH: +at any picot... 4 rw
R: 3-3 cl rw
CH: 3 rw
R: 2-2 cl rw
CH: 4 dnr
R: 2-2 dnr
CH: 4+ (p on r) 3+ (p on next r) 4+ (sk 2 p + at next)
Repeat ** 3 more times

For the opened bud I used red and White for the flower
FLOWER:
R: 4+(any free p from prev rnd)4 cl rw
CH: 8 - --- - 8 cl rw
*R: 4+ (sk 1 p + at next) 4 cl rw

Rep * around joining last chain to 1st ring


For the opened bud I used red thread and the flower is red and pink variegated
