This is actually a pointsettia I designed awhile ago so I just made another to make sure my pattern was right :)
Used a size 5 needle and 10 thread
the center is a golden color and the petals are red
Center:
the 1st pointsettia was done off the ball, the 2nd was on the ball with no chains
R: 5 cl (continue until you have 6 rings) cut tie hide ends
Red Flower:
+ between rings
**CH: 5 rw
R: 5-5 cl rw
CH: 4 rw
R: 4-4 cl rw
CH: 3 dnr
R: 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 cl dnr
CH: 3+(p of ring)4+(p of next ring)5+(next sp between rings)
Continue ** 5 more times
