I said this little comment to my husband this morning. He laughed so hard I thought he was gonna pee himself its not THAT funny LOL
Anyways... Yesterday I got my package from the http://www.thelucet.co.uk/ Thanks to TatsKool LOL Initially I bought 2 lucets for my son for Christmas because I """THOUGHT""" he was getting into it and would actually do it well he gave up and threw his wooden lucet I had bought him :( So I got him doing the knitty knobby (corking) I did maybe an inch and he had about 2 feet when he got angry and ripped it apart :( After some thought last night I figured why give him a gift that he will not use and he could get real dissappointed with it also *sigh* whatever
I decided to mess with the new lucets and OMG for the tight cord it works wonderfully for me and the tiny lucets work great for the necklaces I made...
I like it and its fun
I took to it like a quacker to the wet stuff (a duck to water) lol

Oh, yessss - lucetting. Loved doing it, but darned if it didn't lead to Kumihimo (japanese braiding.) Funny how one fiber craft just leads us to another one! LOL!
I need to get myself another lucet. I enjoy it also, but I cannot do it for very long as it hurts my hands.
Thanks Katie I just had to go and look that up. Actually I had done that one time when my dad did leather work I messed with the pieces. But great now its intriguing me LOL
Sherry my hands got cramped too and my right hand always falls asleep when I tat and it was worse with the lucet so I was alternating back and forth lucet, shuttle, lucet, shuttle LOL The ones from that site are really nice I got the wooden and the plastic one they are GREAT!
That's great, keep posting about what you make and you might influence me to do some more....when i have time!
