I am a bit angry OK not a bit but ALOT...
See I had a person order a pdf file from my etsy shop. I wasnt online at the time of this placed order until the next day. I was reported for NON DELIVERY. OK this had me a bit worried I didnt want trouble. They got rather snippy with me saying they had never had trouble before and apparently this sale wasnt going to happen and for me to keep the money and they wouldnt give me a positive feed back ( this was all done in the same day) sorry I do have a life :(... Anyways all got straightened out and they ended up with a FREE pattern in the process. They were to take down the Non Delivery note and NEVER DID well now etsy de-activated my whole shop since last week... I have had 5 customers wanting to buy thread and stuff and they cant, this really stinks. I am so mad and upset about this... Why do people need to be so impatient my goodness it was within the SAME DAY they ordered and then reported for non delivery.
Ok I vented.
We had a great Christms I will post on that SOMETIME soon...

That sucks that woman did that to you, because it sounds like she's someone who does that to other sellers on a regular basis. You need to fight back, not sit and take that crap. Contact etsy and get it resolved in a satisfactory manner. Then CHANGE your shop's policies to state that any PDFs purchased will be sent within 2-3 days of sale. That way you have breathing space and the buyer has no grounds to accuse you of anything.
The sad thing is I contacted Etsy they said it was all resolved and then I get an email stating that its still unresolved and they yanked the items from my shop and I cant even list anything..... Good idea on changing my policies I may have to do that right now
Some people aggrivate me Grrrrrrr!!!
Keep fighting even if it takes 50 emails or phonecalls! Maybe the email stating the issue was unresolved was sent before everything was taken care of. A lot of those things are automated, so it could just be that. I checked your rating and there is no negative feedback, so something must be going your way. Don't give up. You've established yourself as a successful shopowner. Don't give up just because of one jerk.
Oh, I'm so sorry to read about your bad experience. That person sounds like they are obviously just looking to make trouble, not like they misunderstood that it wasn't an instant delivery like on some more high-tech websites. From what I've seen, most Etsy sellers just email their pdf file, like you and I are doing. If it is any help at all, what I've done is to state in the item description itself that the file will be sent "within 24 hours" or whatever time period you want to put.
thank you both so much!!! You are making me feel better!! I am getting on them alot probably about 6 different emails were sent since it happened! I see another today coming. Its frustrating as heck :(
Well what goes around comes around as they say... I cant wait to get my shop back its like all the work I put into it is GONE and I wasted time but it will be back VERY SOON I hope
How sad and how impatient on the other person's behalf, particularly because it is a holiday time of year.
Perservere with Etsy to get it sold out (and BTW, how narrow minded of Etsy just to assume the buyer was correct).
Good luck
Liz.
Oh I'm so sorry you had to deal with a grinch this Christmas! Just remember that you integrity is still intact in the situation and that is what's important. Don't take it personally....sometime people have nothing better to do than make trouble.
Peace and blessings!
