A very special design

Well I been thinking with a heavy heart on what to design for my beloved dog who passed in July. I just could not seem to find anything that suited him or his memory. I tried and tried to think but still nothing. Then I remembered what I heard "they leave paw prints on your heart" and that is what I came up. That little guy has left permanent prints on me. It will be 4 months on Sunday he has been gone from me and I still cant think of him or talk about him yet without tears in my eyes. My heart still aches, I know it takes time. I wish I didnt need time, I wish he were still here. But he his happy and no longer sick nor in pain. I miss my little guy. Ok enough tears on to the design... I am offering this pattern for sale $2 in PDF format you can go HERE for my single patterns and books or just visit my ETSY store.

I found this poem in a magazine

My Forever Friend
I know that is must be different
Now that I am no longer here.
I realize how much I was loved
And how all of you did care.
I know it will be hard at first
When you look around for me.
Expecting to find me in my bed or
Beside my favorite tree.
Someday you will begin to see,
Although it’ll take some time,
The happy times you shared with me,
The memories are yours and mine.
I’ll remember you my family,
And how much you meant to me.
So please don’t grieve and don’t be
Sad, it was just my time to leave.

And put it all together and made this to hang on my wall

I am also offering this on my Etsy in case anyone else wants a nice pet memory in a frame. If I sell atleast 1 I will be happy
I am gonna go dry my tears and hopefully tat awhile
Now who couldnt love that smiling face

I haven't had a dog in years, though I love them, but am not home enough to give one the care it deserves. This is a beautiful tribute and I've ordered the pattern, partly because I like it and partly because I have a dear friend whose dog (that I also adore) is succumbing to congestive heart failure. If I'm lucky, I'll get to take care of him for a week at the end of the month.

Have a good day

That is a very sweet heart. So sorry to hear about your dog's passing. It's hard to lose a part of the family.
