I did it. I set aside my thoughts and did this. I made a video of myself. I am still not real happy with how I look and stuff but, I am me, you all know and love me for who I am not my looks or my weight.
Someone (cant recall who offhand) asked about a video on using and winding my 3 hole and other shuttles.

ICE PRINCESS

That's me HA HA!! Heck no I could not, nor do I have a desire to ever be like a princess. Anyways Here is the latest creation FINALLY perfected its been over a week in the working. the 3rd try was ok but too curvey but actually 4th try is how far it went and I am satisfied with how that looks. I used some pretty icicle garland that seriously looks like a real icicle I LOVE IT!!! My mind is on creative over load right now, I am trying to fight it, I need to work on Christmas presents.

Thanksgiving was ok... My son was sick. My feelings got hurt but I should be used to that.

Off to tat some more :)

Tatting Tea Tuesday & My Birthday Too :D

Today is my day. Despite the yukky cold and rainy dreary and howling windy day, it was great. I tatted for awhile and came up with something, now this is only the 1st draft but its going to be a SPIDER no not the creepy halloweenish ones this one will be more delicate and pretty I have had this idea for awhile to work on the Legends of Christmas. Some are made up, some are true. Who cares really they are fun stories SPIDER can be found here http://www.worldofchristmas.net/christmas-stories/legend-of-spider.html and peek around that whole site, pretty neat things on there.

Despite the fact that I am enjoying my day of peace, I cant wait until my kids and husband are home. I miss them. I got supper nearly done, we are having fire roasted chicken and shell pasta with veggies (sort of a pasta salad minus the meat and cheese) Dishes are done, laundry is near done for the day, etc...

My dogs are cuddled up with me at the moment I love the little stinkers and how they just love unconditionally are are happy if they get a scrap of food from the table. They always know when its a special day or when you are feeling blue.

My parents got me for my birthday an artificial tree its BLUE my favorite color. My kids made me cards and ornaments. I got tons of birthday wishes on here and facebook and in my email which makes me so happy and feel so loved. THANKS!!!

I got some more things in the mail. cant wait to experiment with it hee hee

Debbie brought me a nice birthday present.

Its Monday. WOW my day went fast today, sheesh!!
I have been busy tatting ALOT!
Getting into too many things with tatting also. What is wrong with me perhaps its Tatting A.D.D. who knows lol

Thursday and Friday Debbie was here with her son Chris. OMG what a great time we all had between my kids being goof balls Thursday night and us all being crazy Friday I was so sore from laughing it was GREAT FUN!!

Saturday my mom had a wonderful dinner for me and a delightful lemon poppyseed cake too. I loved it and I thank you MOM :0)

Hubby has been being his usuall cheery self (sarcasm), no birthday present from him, BLAH to that, I wanted to talk to a certain person who in the past has always been there for me and I am there for them. But I think for the last year or so they are no longer there for me, I just need to face it, sometimes those are the hardest things to do. I know we all get older, grow up and move on but I feel things like this shouldnt go on at times.

I got my new beads I ordered I mistakenly thought they were teardrop beads but they in fact are farfalle beads and I was delightfully pleased I cant wait to figure something out with these

I got some of that cheap bead garland and some cheap necklaces and cut them apart and came up with some cutesy little dragonflies

This is my latest design, on ArtFire & Etsy I am only selling the pendant on a necklace of wire bead etc... but this one will be custom order I even messed around with some photos which I am a bit pleased with. An altered photo of me is usually a good one HA HA

Any whoo that shall conclude this final post of my 33 years on the Earth and begin again tomorrow (hopefully) in the beginning of the 34th year of life. Its only a number its getting bigger but hey we all gotta get older.

I have been impatiently waiting to show you some of what I been doing... Impatiently is putting it mildly I usually cant wait for anything lol

Here is what was supposed to be just a medallion for a necklace but I asked my husband what he thought of it, he said "thats a nice owl" hmmmmmmmm I thought OWL??? So I looked at it and was like DUH it does look like an owl. So its an owl pendant.

And I was looking through some of my older beads you know the ones we had for years and years and forgot why you buy so many. These are those Tri-Beads I dont really see them around alot any more. I have loads of them. So I got creative. I designed it for Debbie, my best friend and tatting pal. We are so much alike its not funny I seriously think we were sisters in a past life or something LOL. It is called AMICITA latin for friendship.

Here are 2 other things that came from creativity with the tri beads there is also another design that is kicking my butt with them.

Debbie and her son are coming over soon and we are going to work on some things that require this. YES the mountain dew is a necessity lol

I was also working on the tatting on wooden pieces again this time a circle shape. I love it.

UPDATE on mother in law, she is improving, They sent her back to the nursing home, everytime we try to get info on how she is doing, no one knows its frustrating. This week has been one of those wacky weeks that I can stand to not have again.

We moved our livingroom around on Saturday it was a mess and contained a broken futon which I got so tired of and asked hubby for the millionth time to get it the heck out of here, and well the kids threw all their crap everywhere. Now its a functional area and my new favorite tatting place. I had to shop today so I spent about $30 to make my couch look nice, its also a futon but the kids put a tear in it, I covered it with a bed matress cover thing at first. I think I was in a fallish mood and without even realizing it matches my carpet :) I bought an ordinary pretty brown fitted sheet, 2 pretty green pillows and a pretty green throw which reminds me of the ones my grandma used to have. *sigh* I miss my grandma and my dog especially at times like what I am going through no matter what even if I was wrong they always made me feel better. :'(

And I got new washcloths because kind of like the sock monster, the washcloth monster has wreaked havoc on the supply we usually have or HAD i should say they are in georgous fall colors and I hadent realized that either, I was kind of in a drone-y zombie state while shopping today. Lack of sleep and being upset will do that to ya lol

My table / foot stool / whatever even has some tatting on it... Its one of my designs but for the life of me I cant find the pattern so i may have to re-do this one

While shopping I was deciding whether to buy more bubble wrap or not I dont really need anymore YET but when I seen this I had to get it.

Fall is beautiful, my favorite time of year but I havent had the energy or mood to go and enjoy it... BUT I will leave you with a beautiful shot I got after they chopped the corn down.

First the prayer request: My dear mother in law is in the hospital now battling pneumonia she is 75 years young. It took them about a week to finally get to what was the matter. She is great one day and not very good the next. Keep her in your thoughts for a full and speedy recovery... THANKS

About the pricing of my shuttles:
I had some people tell me my new resin coated shuttles aren't worth what I am charging... I am not good at pricing and if someone makes a comment on the prices of things I tend to make them lower, then I feel I am selling myself short.
YES polymer clay is not THAT expensive and it does go a bit far but lets look beyond the cost of supplies for a moment... You have to figure in alot of factors,
Time: Lets see here I made 4 batches of shuttles allthough I use cutters and templates for my shuttle shapes, it takes time to roll out the clay, cut, stamp, add pretties etc... My shuttles bake for an hour or so on very low heat so you have to figure electrical cost and wear and tear on my toaster oven. I still have to color and add further pretties. Which can take several hours, Seal them with an acrylic sealer outside since its aerosol and it smells icky too. Drying time is needed. Coat them with resin, this takes a long time I worked on this today and it took me about 5 hours to just do what you see pictured in the photo below. I still have to drill the holes, cut the slices, sand and perfect the shuttle, as well as package it in a bag with a piece of sand paper damp absorbing material and little info paper. So far to this point I have put in atleast 35 hours on the 4 batches of shuttles seen below, and there are alot more steps to go.
Now lets just figure 35 hours x $7.25 / hr (minimum wage in pa) = $148.75.. I looked up online about pricing your things and they say not to charge less than $10 per hour of your time if the supplies cost that or more, so that would be more like $350.00 for my time so far. So at this point the 4 batches of shuttles (30 individual shuttles) that would be $11.67 per shuttle and I am no where near finished.
Supplies:
Resin is not cheap as well as the clay alot does go a long way, but this is a very tedious step. As I said clay is not THAT expensive but its not cheap either. Electricity for lights and the toaster oven is not cheap. I use cornstarch so the clay does not stick, glitters, paints, stamps, ink, paper towels, gloves, my drill, sand paper, exacto knives, blades, scissors, punches, papers, glues, micro marbles, stickers, confetti, beads etc... And then you have packaging and postage, bubble wrap, driving to the post office etc...
Next time you think something costs too much, take a moment to think of all the work that goes into an item.

Here are the 4 batches post resin coating it will have to dry for another day or so... Before you count and say there arent 30 there there are 50... 20 of them are pendants for my daughter and her friend that they made over the weekend... those were not included in the 5 hour time today...

I have been working on my book and I THINK I have all my designs I still have to draw them out and my test tatters are hard at work for me ;)

Here is something that was going to be in the book but I decided to pull it because I was having too much fun and couldnt pick just one I liked best.

The above pieces are for chokers you add a beaded strand or chain or a tatted chain on the p's of the 1st and last chain... Pretty, Simple and the variations are still coming

I did this last night when I was angry I am not sure what it will be but I plan on working on it later

I have also been pretty down on myself lately with my weight and looks I need to accept myself as I am like everyone else does. I just cant see what others do but I am trying... I did put some make up on and do my hair up a little yesterday I thought it looked nice for awhile, until I looked again... Tatting Tea Tuesday: A rainbow, Clumsyness, Resin Drop & a box of birds???

*Please Note I wrote the majority of this post on Tuesday and blogger was being stubborn so it didnt get posted until now*

First we will start with the rainbow actually it was a DOUBLE rainbow, I wasnt able to get the kind of photos I wanted of it because of course I didnt have my camera so after Nate got on the bus I drove down here and went to get my camera in a hurry; lets say wet grass and flip flops dont mix, yep I fell on my butt AGAIN lol. I am sore I am really feeling it now and I can imagine tomorrow I will feel it more...

As for todays tatting I didnt do alot but I do have this to show its a small box of about 14 hummingbirds of all sizes and colors.

I recently wanted to expand my horizons with crafting and started to mess with resin here is a pendant I made pretty :)

Also since I have about an hour each day of waiting for the kids to get home I got my tatting bag packed up with goodies and will tat in that time so I started a blog TALES FROM THE TAT BAG...

The Great Reveal #1 ~IMPROVED POLYMER CLAY SHUTTLES

Yes its true I have been tirelessly working on shuttles trying to make them stronger, it actually happened by accident I was working with resin and dumped it on a shuttle. Oops, so instead of ruining the shuttle by wiping it off and smudging the paint, I left it dry... The shuttle looked BEAUTIFUL, and like I usually do I did a bend and break test I pretty much folded it in half and no breakage, it was a larger one so I can imagine a smaller shuttle would break sooner. It was more bendable, I really love this new discovery... I will have them available soon in my Clay Shop http://heathersclaydesigns.etsy.com/ I plan on putting some up today, keep in mind alot more work goes into these new shuttles and they now take me over a week to complete from printing, making, baking, coloring, resining, and drying. So therefore they will be a bit more expensive than before...

Well Hello Stranger...

Despite being busy and discovering new things, I was without internet for awhile nearly a month, allthough I missed you all very much, I enjoyed the silence and avoided temptation of getting online to just look at 1 more thing... My customers have been more then understanding with my not being able to get online and check orders...

Alot has been going on, good and bad and sad. I am not getting into all of it now because as I have heard people say I am either a drama queen a bit*h or a "i dont know what you call it" so if you know me you know what all I am referring to... Lately I know I have lost some people in my life not death but in a way it feels like that, I was so close to these people and I just didnt want to face how they were until it happened in front of me and in front of my kiddos, I am so thankful for my best friend who listens to me complain all the time... David wants another job (AGAIN) I got upset because I know what happened last time he got in this funk and I DO NOT want to do it again, I cant... He said to me last night "I will just go to Harrisburg" I said "then you will never be home" He looked at me strangely and replied "you HAVE your own job" and then went to sleep... I spent the next few hours trying not to explode into a fit of tears, I actually caught myself holding my breath. He told me this morning he was only saying that. Either way it made me feel sad.

Nate had his med appointment on Friday I got lost going there and coming from Johnstown, it wasnt fun AT ALL I got scared, it was horrible.
Saturday Shannan had her 1st sleepover, we survived, the girl is so nice and sweet.

Onto other things now

Friday evening I was outside drinking a beer with hubby and chatting I stepped on what I thought was just a rock and in fact it was the grill to his backhoe and it slammed down on my foot, this is 3 days later with the chilly wet weather its sore today... Dont mind my freakishly large toes, or my ape toes as I call them LOL

I spent some time with Brucie I dont get out to see him alot so I left him run one day while I threw his ball around. Here he was pooped out HA HA!

Ginger is ready for Halloween, isnt she a cutie

I have been working on shuttles of all kinds I cant wait to do my GREAT REVEAL of what I am doing...

I have been doing more tatting on the wooden pieces this is my favorite

I made a necklace using one of my other designs

And of course photos were taken

I now have my own semi-organized craft corner, in a fit one day I made everyone clean up and re arrange the house hee hee, cheap labor ;) Its nice I always tell the kids that mommy needs a time out ;)

A potential customer asked me a question on one of my clay shuttles that I recently created. It has a 3rd hole. They asked me how would this work... DUH guess I should have added it in when I listed it LOL

IMO this holds alot more thread than just 2 holes obviously. You wind it like any other shuttle over under over under etc...

Any input would be wonderful and if anyone wants to try one of these out let me know, you will be my guinea pig hmmmmm that sounds weird what would a good name be for a test subject for a tatting item??

Tatting Tea Tuesday, Post 1 of ?? and custom shuttle to show

First let me show you this custom shuttle I made for a customer, Its clay she wanted it in grey with the initials KB ... I did a few different versions and with the crappy weather of humidity we had I bed I had to pitch about 4 of them but here is the final one, I am so proud of the design of this, she wanted it larger than I had my own template for so I had to expand it a bit...

I have to run to the post office today I got a bunch of things to mail out including a surprise for one of my tatting friends... Gee who will it be :o)

I have more photos to take of the shuttles and stuff today, I am seriously thinking of opening an artfire shop with my clay, does anyone use Artfire? Suggestions, comments??? I know unlike etsy you DO NOT have to have an account with them.

Most of the weekend and yesterday I was busy with the thread hopefully if I get time today I will get it into skeins and be able to put it in my shop along with the other ones I been meaning to get up. Hmmmm what color(s) is it??? Wait and see.

I have also been messing with wood shapes, ovals mostly, I *WAS* attempting to make some tiny wood shuttles but it seemed to just be a bit too flimsy and probably crack in no time, ohhhh well I tried but I am not going to stop trying.

Just wanted to drop in and say hello!!! Thanks to you all for your wonderful replies on the previous post. Allthough I am upset about it, I am going to just forget it. I have too many other more important things to do at the moment like my book
Tatted Earrings and Things book 2 is proving to be a bit more work than I had thought but its good... So far the count of designs going into this book is 42. WOW guess I was busier that I thought LOL...

I love and appreciate my customers so very much. I was recently asked if I could dye a certain color of thread, matching a hair dye. I was worried that I couldnt do it, well I did I present BLUE VELVET: ultra bright blue with a bit of purple in... I so LOVE this thread, the color is just AMAZING I love it.

This was another recent request a gun metal grey and bright pink. not together but solid colors, the gun metal isnt quite as I like it but the customer is happy with it...

I have a question without going into alot of detail on the issue I am far too angry well more hurt than angry i guess.

I designed a pattern, which took quite awhile to get it RIGHT, sold the pattern, and a person has tatted my design and is selling them FOR THEIR OWN PROFIT and of course I was NOT asked permission to do so. BUT they feel that if a stitch was changed here and there that its no longer MY original design... I assumed proper etiquitte would be to ASK for permission and regardless of stitch change it still shouldnt be allowed... This has me kind of upset ok really upset this happened to me (as well as others) before and it all blew up in my face, I feel I am right, as far as I know I am errrr was the only one with that particular design done that way, and before someone thinks it NO its not a technique, I know those arent copywritten.

I contacted said person and well they feel they are in the right and I am in the wrong...

THOUGHTS anyone.... Perhaps I am the one who is wrong :(

Tatting Tea Tuesday August 17, 2010...

Its been one of those days again, things go on and go hay wire you know what I mean it seems the last few weeks - month have been like that for us... Our 1 fridge may be about dead but the good thing of it is we have another, and if the one is dead I will have a free corner for my christmas tree hee hee... Nahhh I am not glad of it, because the reason we made the discovery is we had an escapee I bought my kids some new hermit crabs last week and we had one somehow get out, we still havent found the little guy :( I just hope where ever he is in the house he can keep himself alive after all we do have dogs and hermit crabs like to eat dog food and the water is always full too, I just wish I would see or hear him so we can get him safely back with his other pals in the tank... Things happen.
I have been tatting or attempting to tat I should say things have just been getting me down lately so I am not in a mood for it I start to tat and then mess up but I think I am getting myself out of my funk or atleast trying my darndest too... Today I took alot and I do mean ALOT of photos more than I have for awhile, it felt good.

I got an amazing package in the mail last week one day I think it was last week anyways... Georgia Seitz and I decided to barter isnt it fun ;) She wanted all my books on disk for a price BUT I said would you like to trade a shuttle AND / OR set of picot gauges. She agreed and instead of just A shuttle and A set of gauges I got all this.................... *WOW* how generous I am still in awe over it all... Thanks again Georgia

And (sorry no pic) I got my book from Martha **More Critters on the Block** I cant wait to work on some but that will be saved for the kids first day of school (I cant believe I am saying that already) They go back on August 30...

And last I am tatting with this magnificent thread that was hand spun for me by Raven she wanted a custom color of thread for a fair project. We made a trade, she hand spun it just for me :) Its pure silk hand spun thread and allthough very soft its wonderful to work with and its not white its more of a cream color I love it and I may have to experiment with dying it too ;) I believe she told me it was a 3ply but its a very VERY strong thread... I just cant imaing all the time and effort that goes in to hand spinning I had (at one point) wanted to try it but I am already into so many different things I think seriously my husband would try to kill me with my tatting needles and shuttles or smother me with the thread or drown me in the dye if I got into anything else LOL

Wow this is like the first TTT post in awhile from me. Just been too darn busy not just busy but crazy busy... I need one of those easy buttons from Staples it seems mine is defective :(...

I didnt get to tat yet today, but that will be this evening. I will show you though another creation for my latest book in progress... Its called Midnight Raven. I love the set I am half tempted to keep it for myself but It will be listed in my FB Payvment shop I do not have it open yet but will soon.

The kids made crystals grow yesterday from a kit I bought probably 2 years ago, they look like snot, well colorful snot that is lol

Here is a bit of the clay pendants and beads that I been working on which will also be available in my shop sometime soon.

And I got the designs together that I want to add for the book ummmmm there are just a few... the page with the long pendant thing is the last page and there are about 20 pages and sticky notes in front of it...

I cant believe its already August 2nd, where ohhh where did the summer go... School will be starting on the 30th for my monsters, YAY!!!! I am so glad its coming then maybe I will have some time where I wont have to run for Nates appointments and such constantly.

We had to get the electricity worked out and all it took was a new wire cap. A total bill of $45, Thank you Martin, I like our electrician he is so nice and funny, gosh we were laughing the whole time he was here, telling the kids silly jokes and riddles I loved it. We are still without the satellite dish but I dont care I can deal with that, its driving my husband crazy which is why I think he is torturing me with watching scary movies like Nightmare on Elm Street, Saw etc...

I have been for the past few weeks messing with clay, trying new things, and creating... I am not showing everything yet because I need to take the photos and we all know how trying to take photos of un-coopeative and un-posable things can be LOL
I have been experimenting with beads making beads with clay and pendants and such, its turning out well and I am satisfied its quite a bit of work but the end result is wonderful. I have recently discovered decoupage too its something I have been wanting to try and I did and I love it!

My latest book will be Tatted Earrings & Things book 2. I am taking my time, I will not have tunnel tatting vision (i wander if that really exists) in other words the book isnt my main focus at the moment if I am working on the book and I get an idea for something else I will go with my idea, usually if I ignore it I wont get it back or I end up forgetting what I was thinking about.
Here is a sneak peek at a pendant for the book and I even used one of my new clay pendants. Its called Karma, for 2 reasons I was listening to my newest CD Jerrod Niemann a song called I hope you get what you deserve, there is a line in the song that says "Karma has a funny way of settling all the things we do" I believe in karma and seriously cant wait for some people to get what they have coming to them. LOL

Back to the clay I know I am jumping around, I must have ants in my pants or something... Here are some decoupaged ones I did they turned out pretty well I need a bit more practice with certain things but its fun.

My favorite are the little lady bugs they are too cute.

On Friday evening I cut my foot on a porcelain sea shell bead that Shannan left on the floor I initially thought it was just a cut until Saturday evening, it felt like I was walking on a ball or something it hurt. I made David dig at it and I was right that darn thing was 1/4" wide going down to a point and the point was in my foot WAAAAAAAAAY in there talk about OUCH!!! it felt better after that still sore but not as bad, last night there was still another piece he dug out, hopefully there is no more. On top of that being sore my other leg muscle or something was hurting bad I couldnt walk up stairs or hills or down stairs, I talked to one of hubbys relatives who is a nurse and she questioned me and here I did it to myself, it was called an Electrolyte Embalance pretty much I was dehydrated, it causes muscle cramping in the legs, so finally today my leg feels good.

I did take a few pictures over the weekend not many since the weather has been so weird, hot and humid, YUK!!!

Those who think I am a DRAMA QUEEN please avert your eyes else where, I am about to complain AGAIN.
Sunday David and I had some welcomed time alone, we bought new batteries for the 5 smoke detectors we have in our home they are wired into the electricity also... WELL we prayed that was the problem since the fabulous lightening strike we had, well it wasnt :( David checked them out several times and then un-hooked them from the wiring and found it, the smoke detectors are fried, more like melted inside along with the wiring in ALL 5 of them. :( :(... And when the lightening struck the lights in our bedroom all went out along with the AC, They had gone back on after hubby put the breaker back on, well yesterday they went out completely and it didnt trip the breaker and another outlet that is wired into that breaker is still working fine ??? You got me on this one. I am confused, upset, mad, furious, Grrr!!! Grrrrr!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! I hate lightening and thunder Always have and even more now I HATE IT!!! If I never see lightening again that would be perfectly fine with me... I got me a busy week again, hopefully after this week I will only have to make 1 run per week for appointments for Nate if not Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Ok done with my bitch and moan session on to other things...
I spent the day at my craft table I think its something I needed to do today it kept my mind busy in between calling the electrician, tv guy, and the other calls I needed to make. I did some creating something I been wanting to do for awhile and FINALLY got it!!! I am pleased with the results I made some beads and pendants with my poly clay, and of course some shuttles came out of it as well, but those will be for another post WHY well because these are super cool that is why they are worthy of their own post HA HA no I need to finish them first. But on to the beads...

And here is one of the many designs that came about from the no-internet for 4 days... I call it Madison because when I was watching The Bridges of Madison County (I LOVE LOVE LOVE that movie) I got the idea for it. And actually started it while watching the movie but Clint took my attention ;)

I am so thankful for my tatting friends who listen to me complain especially Debbie... And for my husband who pulls me out of my funk even when he is in his mood too. This lightening strike has really opened my eyes to alot of things. How fortunate I really am for everything I have and the people who I have in my life, well the ones who dont make me feel like crap that is, I can do without that. I could have lost my home, or if the tree would have been hit differently my husband may not be here right now, I am just so glad things didnt go differently. I wish I knew the reason we are having things go on and go wrong lately but if it dont kill us it will make us stronger, maybe I am being a drama queen, maybe I do complain alot but you know what, in all reality we all do it in some way, shape or form.

Well hubby is helping our neighbor bring in oats or whatever you call it hee hee. I am gonna get me an early shower, the kids are all ready bathed, they are mad they cant play video games but hey tough crap LOL

First of all I am so happy to be back online and so so very fortunate that my house didnt burn or worse...

We had a storm last Saturday night, it was late and we heard this awfully loud CRACK we all jumped out of our skin, Shannan screamed, Nate hid, Ned tried to blend in to the wall and poor Ginger peed on the floor, I dont blame her I was ready to pee my pants myself HAHA

After the crack of lightening, we heart something fall kind of sounded like glass but we just didnt know, lights went out, we were thinking just a power outage. David went to check on things and only a few lights went out we blew a breaker, then we smelled smoke so we were hurrying to find the fire, nothing. We checked everything it blew a lightbulb in the kitchen, destroyed Nates night light, and all of our smoke alarms but 1, we checked the phone and it was dead. Once we discovered the issues we still had power and our lives and our home, Things could have gone another way and I am so glad they didnt...

Sunday I 'thought' the tv wasnt appearing right when the kids went to play the playstation, so I did a little investigating, and found the problem and the source of the smoke.

Wow talk about burnt, that is the cable for the tv / satelite dish. There was a piece on top of that but apparently it blew off and did this to the wall

A few days later we found the pice that was covering it

David said it was aluminum, its charred and even blistered... WOW

David had gone up on the roof to see if he could see aything burned that would have caused such a thing...

He discovered this

It was maybe 6 ft from my back door a little too close for my liking. When David told me about this I just felt sick because it could have gone several different ways. The tree the lightening hit is approx 20 ft tall the lightening hit near the top of the tree and went all the way to the ground splintening wood and burning leaves. It appears the lightening hit the tree and followed it into the ground and came into the house via the ground wires.

Talk about nasty, I hate thunder and lightening as it is, I think I have had enough for the rest of my life.

We were without internet and phone since Sunday and yesterday (thursday) we got it back, The technician for the phone company said the circuit in the phone box was exploded and everything was black and broken, wow. so its fixed and last night my sister in law called and we discovered it killed one of the phones too I answered it and it sounded like a scary movie all screechy and fuzzy.

A good thing though with out internet I did get alot of designing done probably about 10 pieces :D

Some more things went on a bit hurtful things but we will not go there. There will be less complaints on here now. My venting place is gone.

Today we are going visiting my cousin and uncle who are in for a while.

Its been a wild week here I will say that much. Monday David was off work and Nate didn't have camp. It was hot, miserably hot, the day went to crap nothing went right, Whatever.
Tuesday we went to Debbie's for out Tat and Chat had a good time like always. :)
Got home to a fabulous email from Deb at the Keystone Tatting Guild, I had contacted them to see if they would like me to donate my tatted books for their library, I forgot I sent that email. She asked if I would like to deliver the books in person and teach a 2 hour work shop with one of my tatting designs, I was excited and sooooooo happy, its in Camp Hill, Pa close to Harrisburg. Approx 3 hour drive, i though no problem I can do it. I sent Debbie a text and told her you are coming with me and she agreed its not until September 11. I told David when he got home and that was my first mistake. He made me feel like I was being stupid for being so excited and that it "wasn't that big a deal" well to me it WAS. Pretty much he was telling me that I wasn't going :( ok whatever, then he tells me in his crappy tone of voice "if you want to go then go" he knows that if he says it that way I will feel bad and not go. My happy excitement lasted a few hours I guess.
Yesterday was miserably hot my kitchen reached 87*F And I was cooking, I cant stand the heat, plus I was feeling really weird because David and I both take Zoloft we share our pills we were down to a few so I decided to be NICE and not take them until we get paid and can get mine filled thinking that was the nice thing to do, I am going through withdrawals from it, weakness, dizziness, faintness, and horrid mood swings. He is getting mad at me about it, I just want to scream right now.
He also pretty much told me that he doesn't really care about my business because it upsets him that he cant have his own business, so when I go on about things or want to do things that I enjoy he doesn't like it, WOW so I guess I gotta learn to keep my mouth shut. Cant ya tell my nut pills have exited my system. Yikes I do sound rotten don't I?

Then yesterday (Wednesday) my daughter was outside checking on Brucie and giving him treats and she came in the house nearly crying she got stung by some of those nasty bees in the lip, we iced it a bit and put the baking soda on it and her lip was huge within about 10 minutes I got scared because David is allergic to bees she was breathing fine and everything but it just kept getting bigger it looked like it was going to burst I felt horrible so I made the decision to take her to the ER I was worried. She is allergic next time it could be worse they said :( She is on Benadryl, Pretnisone, Prevacid and we need an Epi-Pen for her just in case she gets stung again, they said she could still have another reaction today its unlikely but it could happen. It took so long for the swelling to start going down we were at the hospital for a couple of hours last night. Finally after the kids went to bed David told me I over-reacted a bit that he sees that all the time when he gets stung. hmmmmmm a 45 year old man compared to an 11 year old child I think there is a bit of a difference there. Big deal I may have over reacted but better safe than sorry. This photo was taken about an hour after the meds were given the swelling was already going down slowly but it was bigger than that.

Nate was worried about his sister yesterday but today he was mean this morning WOW.

Ned was tired of David watching an all day marathon of How its Made so I think he was changing channels or trying to hide the remote

And Ginger says this heat is not something I like

I am done being mean for now, I guess. I am working on designs for Tatted Earrings and Things book 2. Once I get things straight I may be needing some test tatters, or tatting testers, how ever you want to put it.

Time to go and tat and try to relax some, I hope for a very un-eventful day. So far so good, with the exception of Nates attitude this morning.

WOW Friday again. I am not complaining.
Today I am alone just me and the dogs. I love it. I am doing a bit of clay, had a custom shuttle order. and Dying thread I havent done either in a long time and it sure feels good to be doing it today... Sadly my day has gone too fast. I have 2 custom thread orders and I have 2 colorways in mind. Not sure if I will get to all of it today but I am having fun for now

Didnt do much tatting yesterday, Went to Debbies for Tat and chat, came home and did a bunch of stuff, had supper showered, my son came back from being with his TSS and then bed for everyone while I stayed up and tatted a little while watching Alfred Hitchcock I love those shows, and outer limits and the twilight zone...

My son was acting up again (BIG SURPRISE) he was being mean and other things I am not getting into it right now.

I had a big hang nail (ingrown nail) whatever you want to call it on my thumb I had to dig and cut and pull, normally these things don't bother me much but WOW that one was nasty it hurt alot...

Then Ned, my older dog who is sometimes a grouchy butt-head decided that since I was picking something off of him it was ok for him to snip me, he got my finger ok no harm done, I stopped then after a bit I was petting his head and then he did it. He bit me HARD I mean I was in shock and cried I seriously think the crying was part pain part moody-ness I cried for a couple hours. And still feel like crying more, I think its just a mix of everything that came out, stress, worry, lack of sleep etc... I am a bit mad at Ned for biting me, and he knows it. My hand hurts but I can still tat lol

And after my cry - out I took a nice bath and soaked my hand. It was nice then Shannan and I went up to get the mail and I was in a little bit of a better mood, I got NO BILLS today woo hoo but I did get all this

Beads, pony shuttles 2 blue and 2 yellow :) I have never seen them before, and 2 books all winnings off of Ebay... Damn you Ebay you are the devil lol I tend to get a bit addicted when browsing and bidding but thankfully alot of my biddings were losses :)

Well I may ice my hand for awhile my eyes are stinging from being a bawl baby. I am working on some nice tatting and also I will be drawing names from the giveaway within a few days.

Tatting Tea Tuesday June 15, 2010

was a very interesting and fun day... Shannan and I packed up our tatting and went to Debbies for Tat & Chat.... I so love that time.

Nate is on day 3 of his summer treatment camp and he is doing great. Yesterday he slipped a little note into my bead storage, after we got back from Debbies I found it:

WOW I teared up it was so sweet... And last night I was sitting here messing around on my lap top and I heard him mumbling or what I thought was mumbling I looked and he was petting Ned ever so gently and singing "go to sleep, go to sleep my little Neddy" another WOW. He is usually aggressive and mean.

On Monday Shannan painted my toe nails, She is awesome :) They are black with multi glitter. Pretty cool huh?!

While at Debbies she wanted to learn block tatting, so we worked on it we decided to do Martha Ess' hat pattern - from her New Critters on the Block book... You can see Debbies HERE!

Debbie also took us to see her bunnies. How cute they were... I am a sucker for animals if I could I would live in a zoo. LOL

I was so thrilled when Martha asked me to help her out with something... Her projects for Palmetto Tat Days since I understand both shuttle and needle and can go back and forth. She wanted to know if some of her georgous designs could be done with the needle and of course I jumped at the idea. Yes Jane I used the needle, lol.

I could only do 3 of her lovelies in needle and here they are

And then she also asked me to test her block animals YIKES. I have only ever attempted block tatting just to see if I could do it, and I did it. So this is the very 1st completed block tatting item I had made, not bad for my first one huh? The bead I used for this Rhino's eye is a bit big.

... not really lol. WOW this is my 500th post I cant believe this I have been blogging for 2 years already, guess I just talk too much ha ha... I have made so many wonderful tatting friends, you are all wonderfully - awesome!!!
To commemerate my 500th post and 2 years of blogging and my 99th follower ;) I will have a tatted jewelry give away. I haven't made the jewelry yet, its in experimental mode at the moment, soooooooooo that means respond to this post, I must know you, please no anonymous people because its always so hard to track them down, in other words I should know you from your response to other posts etc...

Tatting Tea Tuesday was also my kids last day of school...
My son has been acting up more lately, I dont know why. Its making me crazy.
On to the tatting post

First of all I made this for Shannan but it got lost already we think the dog took it, our big dog bruce who resides outside he jumped at her when she was giving him treats and then we didnt notice it was gone until later, ohhhh well guess I will just have to make another hee hee

I have also been working on String Art... And tatting with wire...

And I got a WONDERFUL package in the mail on Saturday, from Is'dihara. See it was only supposed to be the king tut thread (the varigated purples) the color of course is called Heather :) She also gave me some other threads, which I cant wait to use and some Tea, that will be my special drink for next weeks TTT. And last but not least a POP A BOBBIN shuttle, now i have 2 of them... I cant thank you enough Is'Dihara little things like that mean the world to me...

This Tatting Tea Tuesday was one of those days... I went to my moms and got her an etsy shop set up but not completely she needs the pay pal portion done but not yet and she even got a blog http://crazycraftyladycarol.blogspot.com/ I cant wait for her to start blogging and selling on Etsy my mom is a creative woman. She taught me to crochet, sew and do all kinds of neat things as well as teaching me how to cook, and take care of my man :0)

I started to work on this for a necklace and the design just wasn't quite right.

And as you can tell Ned wasn't too impressed with it either lol

Yep that is me a loser... I have lost... not my mind its been gone for years now... I started my diet 2 weeks ago and have already lost 5 pounds, its wonderful, I feel better since I have been eating better... I am proud of myself, I am 5 pounds closer to my goal weight... I really hope I can stick with it and not get discouraged... That is my problem, low confidence and esteem cause me to get discouraged and upset easily... I CAN DO THIS!!! I KNOW I CAN!!!

Can you believe it I did my hair and make up AGAIN wow. i feel a bit better today since I vented, I have had the best comment and private emails THANKS!!

And now, the horror, the thing all of us tatters fear and can sympathize with me. i bought this vintage thread off of Etsy ahle back... I am guessing it was very vintage. I was pulling a LJ tight and snap! OMG?!?!!?!?!

it broke and i just sat here in awe that it broke ... :( I was so happy to be back in creativity mode I had started designing something with some size 80 thread a size in which i have never ever used and it was going pretty well until the dreaded snap...

i have since started over in size 20 just to see how the design will work up..

Today Debbie and i are going shopping WOO HOO I so cant wait. My daughter has a field trip today too. I cant help but worry the little girl she has to partner with is a drama queen, she loves to make Shannan feel bad so she will do what she wants her to. They are going to Del Grosso park.

I better get a moving here because if I dont I will doze off in my chair

Where it seemed everything was just BAD!!
Lets see I won't say a whole lot on this subject BUT I have people who are un-married and child-less telling me that I am basically a BAD mother, you know I don't feed my kids etc... Now if that was the case I can imagine my kids would be horribly under weight, sickly, and tiny. and they are NONE of these things. Heck I haven't even had them to the doctor this shcool year for illness. That is AWESOME!! But you know I am a bad mother... I hate it I am tired of it, but what can I do? Nothing like always, all the comments and remarks, people think I will not hear them. Whatever... My friends helped me alot this week I wasn't in the best of moods and spent alot of time in tears. I am so tired of hearing the non parents tell me my sons issues are just an excuse, spend a day with him, a bad day, the days he mis-behaves and cries because he don't fully understand why he does some of the things he does, its heart breaking and being a young child you can't fake that stuff. Even his threapists agree that its not something to be ignored, it needs fixed now. That is why i am going through all this stuff. I am angry, I am hurt, i am upset. There are some people in my life who I thought I was very close to only to find out what I already knew, they are all for themselves, they know it all, I do not matter anymore, I was only good when I did and gave them things, live and learn I guess...
Wednesday I had Nathaniels 3 month evaluation and I had paper work to fill out for him going to the summer treatment program (summer camp) I put money in the meter I had to scour the Envoy for change because i had non in my purse ohhh well we found some but it wasnt enough I got a parking ticket... WONDERFUL it was only $3 but still I wasnt happy but then laughed it was kind of funny I guess. I have been tatting off and on this week there were days when i touched it and it just went all wrong...
Tomorrow is FRIDAY woo hoo!!! I cant wait to spend the 3 day weekend with David and the kids. and tomorrow Debbie and I are going craft shopping :) i cant wait. I need to decompress and just chat. I am so glad to have met her she is awesome finally I have a normal friend and she loves tatting too :0)
The kids get out of school on June 8 I cant wait I need things to slow down a bit. On June 14th Nate starts camp, he likes it and it will do him good.
If i do not make it back before Memorial Day, Have a safe and wonderful holiday.

WOW its Saturday already, actually Saturday night...

Yesterday I went to Debbies, I so love our tat and chat, time just goes too fast, we don't tat much mostly chat hee hee..

I took my kids to my mom and dads for the weekend YES!!!!! Its nice and peaceful and I get some much needed 1 on 1 time with my hubby.

Today we went and got a new water tank, he bought me a new air conditioner our old one makes me sick with the mildew that is in it. Then I went to michaels and got me some goodies BEADS lol

And we got home and I checked the mail and found a nice package from Tudy from Tudys Craft Cupboard I responded to her pay it forward give away thing ?? and I forgot about it imagine my surprise :D

Its beautiful I got a nice bag, a little zipper bag, some cinnamon mints which are good :) a beautiful little sachet that I can add my own scent to, and some nice tatting thread... THANK YOU TUDY :) you are too kind...

Today was a good day I am tired, tomorrow is Sunday already I guess I will have to go pick up my kids *sigh* the weekends are too short LOL but I miss my monkeys...

Tatting Tea Tuesday... what can I say about today other than AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! that was NOT a sigh it was a scream.

Nate had a BSC appointment today and I had to be more involved in it than I wanted too... Nate has been getting worse lately instead of better, (I love stress) His appointments are now weekly instead of every other week (more running YAY) And I have to make him another appointment to possibly see what is going on up in his noggin and meds, I really dont like the idea of him being on meds again but if he needs it and it helps I guess it will be good. So once that is said and done it might turn into 2 times a week running to Ebensburg.

As I waited in the office for Nate to be out of his session I tatted a bit. This is something I started last night and I cant wait to re-do it in different thread and possibly with beads. This design requires 2 different sizes of thread, why 2 different sizes, who knows its just the way I roll lol I was using up some size 10 and size 20 on shuttles to empty them :) The pattern will be available once I get it perfected. There are NO joins at all. just chains, SLT, SS, R, and SR. Easy and fun. ohhh and 2 shuttles were used.

Its been raining here and raining and raining and... you get the point. its got me in a mood too I guess.

I guess I should be happy today though I woke up to a conversation on my Etsy Shop that I was included in a treasury. http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list.php?room_id=131778

And I will be teaching in Georgias online tatting class on May 24, during the 8:30pm EST class I will be teaching my "minnies love" pattern.

David came home in a piss poor mood (pardon my language) he isnt talking to me and he is being ignorant, just what I wanted today, whatever...

Day 2 of my diet is going well I made myself some really delightful stir-fry and its diet friendly YUMMY!

Ok off to deal with crappy attitudes and get 2 kids ready for bed....

Whoa where on earth did the time go??? Blog~A~Versary #2

I knew this month was May. I knew my 2nd year of blogging was in May but somehow I didn't realize it WAS May lol Wowser where did that year go... I am also near my 500th post. So when I hit 500 posts I may do something special, not a give away this time but something else :)

I started my diet (I really am not considering it a diet so I don't get in that mode of ICK! a diet) did good so far today. Had my Special K cereal, cup of coffee with organic sugar and a little creamer, and just drank a nice glass of green tea with mint. I am going to try no soda today but my Mountain Dew will probably call my name later lol. I walked for an hour as well just around here because its raining again!

Ned is laying on my bed snoring like crazy, Ginger is laying under my legs in the dip of the chair. I am going to be adding some more photos to my photography Etsy shop and I even started to make the sets again here is an example: the larger picture is the main one, the rest are altered :D

I was excited for Saturday after a converstation with hubby Friday evening.... he asked me where do you want to go? Buttermilk Falls i replied, Ehhhh was his reply so i looked up different parks for us to go to. Saturday came and he got mad about it and we didnt go but we did have to run for him. :( and we went out to eat mind you I love Chinese but i was angry. Dont even get me started on my son, Grrrrr!! I was still mad.
Today came (sunday) and he talked of going somewhere today again where ever i wanted. ok the park. then he complains we have no extra money for gas but we could go to indiana to lowes (what he wanted to do again) i left and went to the grocery store. i am mad i was so counting on a few hours out having a good time and just not thinking of anything but enjoyment. NO!! whatever. I so cant wait for everyone to go to work and school tomorrow. I want and need a break. I am starting a diet tomorrow not really a diet, its the special k challenge cereal for breakfast and lunch and normal supper. i did it before and I have to do it again. I plan on walking more too even if its not in the woods all the time, i got a giant yard I can walk around a few times ...
I really didnt get to tat alot this weekend due to me being mad, I did sort my beads today Shannan helped me so i gave her a bunch as a reward and 2 cases. She is happy I just hope she uses them and they arent scattered around the house.

Now for Tatting Tea Tuesday. I am drinking a nice large glass of Southern Style Sweet Iced Tea. My favorite. I had some running to do today and got home late. I did tat some early this morning. I finished this which is perfect length for a necklace or earrings they are a bit long but I think they are georgous!

I am still upset about my son with what he said on Saturday, and last night he got mad at me and said "just don't talk to me" :( KIDS!!!

Its kind of snowing here today snowy slushy sleet CRAP!! yuk... My allergies are still getting me I pretty much sound like a duck LOL the reason I said duck is my daughter said that one time when my voice was all squeaky and it cracked me up...

Here are photos of the shuttles hubby got me for Mothers day! He got them at the Antique Depot, the lady who sold them to hubby was just watching the booth for someone, but she knew all about tatting and said how wonderful it was that people are still doing it. He bragged me all up. LOL

The most expensive one was the black one it was $15, the other 2 were $10 each. I know for a fact that the Susan Bates shuttle is older because look at the price 39 CENTS wow could you imagine if shuttles only cost that much :D lol Now the red one I told hubby I already have one BUT upon further inspection the red one I have that I bought a few years ago was made in China and this one he bought is made in the USA. The black shuttle says nothing. I really need to find a resource book with old shuttles and their value what era or years they were made blah blah blah... I have several assumed antique shuttles and would love to see if I got taken or if they are REALLY old.

I still can't show you my moms Mother's Day gift because she hasen't gotten it yet, I don't know if I should go tomorrow or wait til I am all over this crap... Grrrrr! Hubby and I decided the kids will stay Saturday night :D I need a break especially from my son. I really don't know how Crazy Mom Tats does it...

On Friday also I decided to take some time for myself I dyed my hair a nice auburn color and put highlights in myself as well and it turned out really nice. I usually do dye my own hair but have never attempted highlights. Hubby wanted to treat me to a pampering day but the cost was UNREAL my hair is about shoulder length and kind of thick and for cut style color and highlight it was going to be $140 give or take $20... YIKES!!! I wanted to hide my grey lol my hair is a natural red and this is a bit darker than mine but still has red in it :D

Not sure if you can see the copper colored highlights with the auburn. Yep and those are natural curls too they were a bit tamer than usual today, thank you Suave Mousse lol

I guess that will be all for now who knows I may be back for more :D

Sunday, May 9, 2010 was mothers day...
I will start with Saturday May 8, 2010. Went to Debbies house :D Had a great time chatting while the kids played together her son is so adorable and funny. The kids all played together and there wasnt 1 fight between my kids that is until we left they didnt want to go...
Got home to a lovely gift from my husband, 3 shuttles from the Antique Depot. A black one, A red one and a silver metal one and the original price on it was 39 cents. I know for a fact that one is old...
Hubby decided to take me out to eat for supper. We were getting ready and the kids were in the car I just get in and hear my son telling my daughter to keep her mouth shut... hmmm something happened or he had done something AGAIN! She asked me politely, mom can I tell you outside of the car? I said yes so we walked away from the car and then she told me... Shannan: Mom Nate said something that I know would make you sad, but please dont be sad because I love you... Me: Ok tell me honey. Shannan: just please dont cry ok mommy. Me: ok I wont Shannan: Nate said that Chris has a good mom, not like my mom. Me: (jaw drop) did he really say that. Shannan: yes... I knew she wasnt lying because my son says things like that all the time just not as harsh. I was sad, hurt and angry. That kid makes me so upset all the time, no wander I am crazy LOL I am still angry with him because he is acting like I should have forgiven him already. NO... He didnt even apologize and he said I was only joking. I know he wasnt.
My throat was feeling weird all day too you know like when you sleep with your mouth hanging open all night, well it didnt leave plus I been battling allergies for a few weeks now. Saturday evening it was evident it was a bad allergy attack... My voice was going my throat is raw, but not real sore. If you suffer from bad allergies you know what I am talking about.

Woke up Sunday feeling miserable as all heck. My voice sounded worse and i couldnt talk for long without choking and coughing (gotta love allergies) Hubby decided to go to the store and get some things for lunch and supper since I was under the weather and it was Mothers day... He came home with frozen pizzas and bbq chicken wings YUM! I wasnt able to go see my mom either due to me not feeling that great I even had a slight temperature :( I didnt want to make her sick she has way too much to deal with at home with my dad, sister and brother at times. I felt so terrible not being able to go, I was worrying all day that she was mad or upset that I couldnt come over :*( I really hope she isnt... We are going over on Wednesday both kids will be home due to appointments that day. I will show you her gifts I made after Wednesday because she keeps an eye on me ;) lol She likes to look at all the pretties on my blog and I dont want her to see her gifts yet.

I took the plunge and am going to try selling my photos again I have an etsy shop look above you will see it.
I am tired this morning, I couldnt sleep that well due to my sons actions, stuffy head and weird feeling throat. Ginger is all snuggled up with me and its not helping lol

Carl, Early Mommy Day Gift, Organization, & Marbles

Since I have not blogged in a few days I got lots to say. Not Really. Well Maybe? Who Knows.

First this is my early Mother's Day gift. Isn't my husband the best? YES!! 3 cases for my tatting supplies and beads. I have them mostly filled already I have the small one filled with SHUTTLES lots and lots of shuttles, I have a bit of room in it I told David I needed a few more, No I don't LOL

Yep its packed with shuttles, talk about addiction *sigh* ohhh well the other 2 are filled with beads, jewelry findings, cabone rings, etc... Now I can actually see all my beads instead of hunting for ones i thought I had.

I finally FINALLY got my tatting corner arranged and organized to my liking. Not sure if you remember the previous MESS.

Between then and now it got worse. BUT now its better and with my hubbys new gifts it really is nice.

But what is that on my chair? Or who is that?

Carl the Caterpillar. isn't he cute, and he is so soft and cuddly and He is my tatting pal he likes to hold the shuttles and my scissors and he gives me pretty good advice too.

...and if I ever EVER EVER buy another marble or half marble again some body please shoot me. This is my stash that weighs nearly 30 pounds. Zoinks! i have a *few* (thousand) marbles

I am working on some top secret tatting that I cant show at the moment but am enjoying it. Tomorrow is my favorite day of the week Tuesday for TATTING TEA TUESDAY.

Tatting Tea Tuesday April 27, 2010- WHAT A DAY!!

Well I didn't get alot of tatting done today because of many things. See my plan for today was to rest my weary back and tat to my hearts content. I told my sister not to come over today because i had plans, which really wasn't a lie I DID have plans to meet up with Debbie for a tat and chatter but with my back and throat i thought it best not to do so, it made me sad. plus I just wasnt in the mood for my sisters whining and I really think she has given up tatting :( ohhh well I tried.
But there is next week and possibly May 8th will be the first of many tat chats with 2 other tatters. More info as it unfolds nothing is confirmed yet.
My throat feels a bit better today and my back too BUT this evening my stomach is acting up BIG TIME I have no idea why :( ... The main reason I didnt get alot of tatting done today was the wind. Yes the wind prevented me from tatting because it was just the right kind of wind that kept knocking my screen door open with a *BANG* it was scaring the dogs, Ginger I dont mind her sitting in my lap while I tat because she is all of 6 pounds but Ned is my porky not really I just call him that he is about 24 pounds. He was so scared he wanted me to hold him like I was burping a baby UGH! I have scratches all over my legs and arms and even one on my back from him trying to get as close to me as he could LOL it was funny but not. They even followed me into the bathroom while I was sitting there Ginger was laying at my feet while Ned layed close to her. LOL
But I have my little bit of tatting to show as well as some pretty pictures I had taken last week. Ohhhh speaking of the pictures due to some nagging from friends and me asking others' opinions on my facebook I opened up a photo etsy shop to sell some photos, and possibly make cards from some of my photos. I have to admit some of my photography has gotten really nice.

Saturday was going to be a nice day, take note of the word WAS. We decided to go out for Chinese for lunch, my favorite. We were all getting ready and I decided to bend over and I felt pain in my back, I knew what it was and I knew what it meant. PAIN!! I really dont know what it is but my lower right side of my back that muscle I always pull it or hurt it or WHATEVER. It knocks me out of commission because I cant sit stand or lay comfortably, ben gay becomes my best friend along with the heating pad. UGH! Sunday wasnt the best either but today its feeling better somewhat I can actually move more without wanting to scream bloody murder. I did some laundry and a few other things until my back said, no more right now.
And for the past 4 days my throat has been sore, bad sore, its spring, I knew it was coming, ALLERGIES. BLAH!! I like spring for the cool weather but the pollen kills me.
I did have a bit of a rough week last week well the last few days of the week anyways BUT I have awesome friends who pulled me through!! I ♥ them. I have been tatting a few things here and there and I started on the spinning wheel glass mat by Mary Konior, that project may take me awhile its gonna be my sometimes project, when I am in between designing things.
Well I guess I am off to tat just hoping I dont fall asleep while doing it lol

Todays Tatting Tea Tuesday was a busy kind of day I guess. I have a sore foot, its my fault, some people chew their nails, twirl their hair, when they are under stress or nervous, well my feet are so dry and cracked ALL the time so I pick my skin and I really did it this time. It hurts to walk on it. *sigh*

I ran my errands I had to mail out some lady books ;) go to the grocery store and get some things hubby wanted meatloaf for supper so I decided to make something a bit different I made my version of stuffed meatloaf, it was goooood, we also had pieroghies and garlic beans & mushrooms.

I did some reading and i had my faithful little girl with me on my chair. She loves her momma so much, i normally cant move without her she loves to cuddle and just sit with me. I love the tv show Supernatural I think its an obsession truthfully, its on Thursdays at 9pm and I am glued to the tv for that hour I am not a tv person but that show I am LOL I have the journal and some books from the show I love it!!

Tatting: I did some more on the half marbles I was going to do 2 whole ones too BUT the inspiration isnt there I cant design under pressure LOL

Ginger and Ned were waiting me to sit and tat. They are too cute. Pets are wonderful

I am so so SO SO happy to announce that my Tatted Ladies in my Life book is NOW ready...

The books are in a report style folder with a clear covering.

And I will be having new threads in the shop thanks to Is'Dihara testing my bamboo her wonderful input from her test gave me confidence. The thread is 100% Bamboo very soft and has a bit of a shine to it, its beautiful, not the easiest thread to tat with but give a little time and you will love it!! The other thread I will be offering is metallics, These look so pretty hand dyed especially with the strand of metallic in it. All I have at the moment are size 10 but am trying to see if I can get some other sizes, so far its not looking real good.

I will be dying thread this week first time in awhile I bought me a table for dying and clay work so that i dont have to find places for my appliances from my island...

Well what can I say about Tatting Tea Tuesday today... not alot it was a day, not that great but not real bad... I got my vehicle on Sunday ((YAY)) but hubby is restricting me going many places until its completely in our names etc... Its a 2004 GMC Envoy I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!

Ohh i also forgot something to be glad about because i can tat easily 'outdoors' after its finished up. We are getting a front porch a REAL front porch, not like our whoville front porch we have now its crooked and we had to have it for code etc... hubby built it and it didnt turn out so well lol You cant really sit there now with a chair its small, the reason we are getting a porch is we need a ramp for mother in law when she comes for holidays and stuff, she can barely walk now and we like to get her from the nursing home and bring her here now and then, I cant wait I want somewhere to sit outside and it to be shaded too it will be nice to sit and drink our coffee in the morning too :)

I didnt get a ton of tatting done today I had calls to make and my sister was here, she didnt tat today but mostly complained about her life... BLAH BLAH BLAH we all have troubles hers are self inflicted troubles.

A little bit on the current addiction LOL

You have all heart me rant a few times on how much I hate having beads on the shuttle... That is what these are Rings only with the beads on the shuttle once I kind of got onto it it wasnt so bad well that is unless the beads are too big to be wound on the shuttle lol. These were so fun and anyone can do it just do a ring as if you are making a ring with beaded picots and dont add the bead to ANY picots and just close the ring like that voila` my version of a beaded ring I guess lol I am sure its been done before I never looked it kind of happened by accident as usual.

I made my own picot gauges awhile back and laminated them I loved them and I use them all the time

Todays Tatting Tea Tuesday is ehhhhh a day full of stuff, both good and bad I guess...

The bad first, MY ADHD CHILD, stealing and of course lying again, I actually started to believe him last night but I should have known not to believe him, Grrrrrr! That had me in an upset kind of mood most of the day!

I nearly forgot it was Tatting Tea Tuesday and I had a special plan for today, see my sister, hmmmm how to describe her I dont know, I dont want to sound mean but she is always on a pity me kick, and poor me etc... I am sure you know what I mean, my poor mother has to put up with her and other things at the house, I know she is going crazy, my sister dosent want to stick to any hobbies or anything, so on Easter I pretty much told her she was being taught tatting and that was all there was to it, she showed up today which is a miracle all in itself, and she is being taught needle first then shuttle the way I learned and the way I am teaching my daughter. She did pretty well and i gave her homework for next Tuesday to have atleast 2 motifs done correctly... I really really hope she sticks with it and gives my poor mom a break from her attitude and stuff. No pictures this time I was just so glad she did it and seemed to enjoy it.

Its supposed to be spring here in Pennsylvania but it feels more like mid July its HOT I hate the heat and this is making me really irritable. So today I got smart and put on the fan right away and it isnt too bad here in my corner but still kind of stuffy...

I did end up taking some pictures this morning we had a thunderstorm with rain this morning it was weird I hate thunder so you can imagine I wasnt to happy. After the kids went to school I walked around a bit in between sprinkles and sunshine and took a few nice springy shots.

I didnt have to cook today because we had left over ham and stuff sooooo that left me some time for tatting and I have created some beautious things see... i am having way too much fun with what i am doing and there is much much more to come of these...

These were Easter gifts for my mom and sister... Left is an amethyst carved bear with a little motif attached for my mom. Next is a seahorse carved from Ocean Agate stne necklace for my sister with some tatting. and Last is a cell phone charm thing for my sister with glass beads, she loves it.

Sorry dear tatting friends that I missed out on Tatting yesterday but the headache I had the day before wasnt present when I woke i got the kids up to the bus and then walked around for probably 20 minutes came in and was a bit hungry so I nibbled on some Quaker Oat Squares cereal YUM!! and then it hit, my head started to hurt and immediately I went for the pain reliever it didnt help AT ALL I ended up feeling blah the whole day. i did in fact tat but by looking at it it dosent seem like much but its the 6th try to get it right :)

Well this is the final TTT for March I did get some tatting done today but with trying to get other things done it wasnt easy well that is until we lost power and phone for awhile. blame it on the wind, must have known I needed a time out lol

My mood wasnt too great today, on occasion I get in these moods where I feel worthless, stupid, fat, ugly etc... Sometimes its triggered by something other times its not, I tend to just shut myself off or act like its all ok. I was and still am in a bit of this mood today, I am tired, must be all the crap adding up at once who knows I think it partly has to do with not having a vehicle for the past 2 months and still wont until atleast the end of April. Easter is Sunday, I am not completely prepared but whatever... It was sunny off and on today but a bit windy I decided to take the camera for a little walk it was nice and refreshing, but chilly, it picked me up some but not fully...

I seen the mail man come but waited until I got Shannan off the bus to check it and imagine my surprise when my package from LADY-SHUTTLE-MAKER came in the mail, I had ordered a custom hook pen awhile back and fell in love with it and decided to order another set of size 10-11-12-13-14 custom made white with blue and my name on them. WOW is all I got to say about them there are no other words but WOW!!!! Its awesome as awesome can be... Its georgous see how all them make up a tatted doily how NEAT-O!!!

Now for the tatting I did today... Nothing spectacular really

Well I am not sure which would be better? I know which one I like better and which one I like the look of better but I would like the opinion on what YOU think...

This was that one design awhile back that I was having trouble getting the right way. Finally got it but it required beads on the shuttle(s) I really really dont like that because it bothers me and takes me even longer to do the project. so I fiddled around today and did 1 with 2 shuttles and the other SCMR and 1 shuttles with beads on the ball thread

I really like the look of and prefer to do the SCMR one...

What are your thoughts / opinions??

Well I have recently acquired some shuttles made in India I bought SEVERAL the pricing wasnt so bad I found them on ebay and they have an online shop as well HERE I was messing around today and thought I would show you my WIP but the way its going the WIP might get whipped out the window because this is probably the 8th time I tried and I do need to start over AGAIN lol I really like this shuttle its not real light its got some weight to it but over all its wonderful its plated brass I believe.

I got my huge thread order last night and I was so happy so soon I shall start dying again along with some ~*"...NEW..."*~ items... Are you curious yet? he he he he you will have to wait and see what I am talking about :)

I gotta run to walmart again tonight UGH!! I hate it there heck I hate shopping in general but I need to buy a new shuttle case my collection has out grown my box and I still have 9 coming in the mail... OMG did I just say 9... Thanks Jane you got me away from the needle now you created a shuttle addict THANK YOU and my hubbys wallet thanks you too ;)

well because I am cutting onions of course LOL it happened to me a bit ago and my eyes aer still watery and stingy. I feel the need to cry for real though but it wont come out lol

It has been a week and I am so looking forward to the weekend.

Sunday night hubby had me up ALL night because his teeth hurt, I have told him for months to get his butt to the dentist but noooooooo why on earth would a husband ever listen to his wife?? This all came too on a rough day, I picked the kids up at my moms and went and did some grocery shopping Nate was good at first then the little demon child came out, so much I had to discipline him in the store and I got funny looks from an elderly lady, I did not smack my child that is saved for closed doors ;) lol but I told him he was in trouble and that was the last time... all you moms know what I am talking about. He still kept at it I had to drag him around the store while he put on his fake tears etc... it was not fun...

So Monday came I was a complete mess and so darn tired I wanted to scream, I was a mess because I ran out of my nut pills (anti anxiety meds (go ahead and judge me, whatever we all have our troubles)) and havent had any for about 3 days so I was all frazzled hubby was complaining and telling me how scared he was to go to the dentist etc... I made him his appointment and he went I wish we could have gotten in earlier because David was driving me CRAZY to the point where I was ready to pull his teeth, but I do understand I had 2 teeth pulled at the same time a couple years ago. So he got them pulled and your mouth does get sore he is having trouble chewing but my goodness I gave birth 2 times and the one I didnt have ANYTHING for pain and with my son (the one with no pain meds) I had my tubal done so there was double the pain I didnt complain as much... So yea he has been making me crazy lol

Yesterday my son had an appointment so I had to take Dave to work, I bet you I wasnt home for more than a half hour at a time. UGH!! Talk about exhausting, around 4pm is when I finally got to be home for good. i have been tatting some but I am just too lazy and busy at the moment to scan and tell.

I got a huge and by huge I am NOT exaggerating HUGE pot of soup cooking... I really really REALLY wish my mother would not have handed me the trait of cooking too much, I could feed a small army most times, so could my mom, hubby was being a smarty pants one day and told me to pretend I am only cooking for myself then maybe we wouldnt have so much left over. He thought it was funny but i didnt.

And we managed to adopt 6 crustacians so far, I am thinking a few more may wander onto our premisise from my daughter bringing them from school. Here is the story when I was in high school for some reason I fell in love with hermit crabs as pets and after my son was born the last living one I had passed away so I decided to not get anymore I wouldnt have time for them seen as how I had a new born and a 13 month old to chase after. The kids have been wanting them because I talk about the ones I used to have and I figured for Easter from David and I we would get them some, i bought 4 I named them Hermie, Squirmie, Pinchy, Inchy as a joke and well the kids loved it lol

Any whoo my daughter is studying animals and stuff in science class and they have fiddler crabs, which are different than hermit crabs so I decided to let her adopt a couple and then I realized they need 2 different living enviroments so yesterday when I was running I bought another small aquarium and a few decor and sand etc... and they they spotted them somehow I ended up being conned into adopting 2 fiddlers plus how many ever shannan will be bringing home from school... The fiddlers creep me out a little because they remind me of BIG spiders I refuse to pick those up lol

OMG!! Can you believe this? This is my tatting area... messy messy messy... We got out tax refund and my wonderful hubby gave me money for my addictions... I am buying some drawer carts for some organization... I can imagine it will take me awhile but I will get it organized :)

New shop policies and a little rant

Well pardon me while I rant ok. Some of what I am about to say has happened recently and some has been happening in the past:

i had a lady purchase a book from me and telling me it was in her words a poor excuse for a book, it was poorly written, not understandable, and she took it to her tatting group and that they all agreed with her that it was a waste of her time and money. "ouch" She had said she expected it to be comb or spiral bound or a hard back book, I clearly stated in the description the book was in a protective folder and there was even a photo of it there as well... So my desire to please everyone and make everyone happy ended in her getting a full refund :( i shouldnt have given her full refund but she got it. and still she harasses me BUT I have seen a time or two after that her tatting the designs from the book, hmmmmm ???

Another thing is my buy 2 threads get 1 free, I used to let the purchaser choose their thread and sometimes they would just tell me to throw anyone in of whatever size they use. Well i had this happen to me 2 times by 2 different individuals they didnt like what I sent as freebies when they said to give them whatever, they demanded refunds for the 'free' thread. and of course me again being a people pleaser asked them what thread they did in fact want and they got their way...

Its not my fault that people do not read descriptions of products, its not my fault that people didnt choose their thread like i asked them too.

New policies in the shop, No refunds on books or pdf books, Thread is still buy 2 get 1 free but I choose your free thread in the sizes you ordered. I feel really mean doing this but I gotta save my own butt.

I am going to have to re- do my shipping costs as well, seems they are too high, but in my shipping includes envelopes and protective wrappings as well as the postage and a teeny portion for gas to run to the PO.

Allrighty I ranted I feel better now if I could just put my foot down at times lol

Still dosent seem right with the year being 2010 yet. Weird.

Here in the states we had day light savings time Sunday, I love it but I also hate it because it will take me awhile to get used to it, I stayed up til about midnight last night and with the alarm ringing at 4am, sometimes its just not good lol Got up and cussed under my breath at the wretchid time did my wifely duties and then realized the kids both had tutoring this morning and I had to fill out umpteen million pages on medical forms for the kids among other things UGH!! WHY nothing has changed in the last 6 months cant they save some paper and just call you? whatever...

Got the kids up and off as well then it was ME time WOW I love me time it always seems to go way too fast though, wander why that is???

It was a bit dreary looking this morning and I didnt think we would have a beautiful day but WE DID!! I managed to get out and take a few pictures and just enjoy the fresh air and see the birds. I loved it I am really really hoping by Friday some of this horrible mud dries up because if it does and if other things go as planned I AM GOING ON A HIKE in my woods WOO HOO, I cant tell you how great that makes me feel.

On a crappy note though my throat for some reason is starting to get sore again GRRRRRRR! If I ignore it I am sure it will just go away!

Todays Tatting Tea Tuesday was an adventurous one...
I posted last night about what do 4 shuttles with 4 different colors of thread and a bit of a drawing have in common?
WELL I dont have the drawing on this computer and I am not gonna get on the lap top right now for it but it was a freeware embroidery drawing I found somewhere not exactly sure where though.

Any way I was looking around last night and seen it on the lap top and thought WOOOOO maybe I can try that and you know what I ended up only having to wind the 1 shuttle and emptied the other 3.

Here is what I created its not quite right yet but close to what I want it to be and CHECK OUT those leaves arent they cool? :)

I did some experimenting too this morning see.... HA HA you will have to wait and see what that could be.

Supper is nearly finished one of my moms creations (i think) mushroom soup and burger over pasta or mashed potatoes tonight we are having the pasta. soon my monkeys will be home. where ohhh where did my day go :(

Its highly possible by Friday Afternoon Tatting will be available WOO HOO!!!

I have a bit of an announcement to make. Pretty soon I shall have a booklet ready for purchasing, no its not the Tatted Ladies book YET.
Its called Afternoon Tatting

I am really hoping this will be the first of many 'afternoon tatting' books
This book has 12 designs, fairly simple, only 1 of the 12 uses 2 shuttles, the rest are shuttle and ball. Each design uses 9 beads, dunno why 9 was the lucky number but it just was.

I still have 2 gals testing for me so once they are finished up I can get everything finalized and ready. I really need to thank JANE EBORALL she granted me special permission to use her adding a bead to picot technique to my book not just the link but the whole tutorial so THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH JANE!!! I also want to thank my testers, Aileen, Isdihara, Sunela, Leah, and Crazy Mom Tats...

Patterns are written as well as drawn out, and I have to send a thank you to Sherry (lady shuttle maker) for being so kind as to give me the drawing program in exchange for my books. Without that program I would still be cursing out my PSP7 program when it dosent agree with what I want it to do.

The cover of the book was approved by my daughter I was messing around last week trying to figure out how to do it and she gave me a few ideas and I think the cover looks WONDERFUL!

I did end up tatting a little bit today but nothing worth showing, my mind was pre-occupied with other things and stuff going on. Right now I am not in the best of moods either. I could eat all the chocolate candies I made earlier but I wont.

Ok gonna nurse this headache and try not to cough because it makes my head feel worse.

I hope to have some tatting to show off tomorrow Maybe I will get my March Heart finished, awww heck I finished the center of it last night I must show you

Tatting Tea Tuesday March 9, 2010 part 1 of 2 BEWARE!!!

I did some odds and ends today around the house, I was getting ready to tat and I wanted some type of something sweet, hmmmm but what to have?? ?? ?? I had some snack cakes here that I used for hubbys lunch usually there are extra but looks like a snack monster must have gotten into them so there was no extra for me and there wasnt even enough for the rest of the week... CRAP! So I thought What can I make, I wasnt in the mood to make cookies or a cake then I thought I got lots of different ingredients here. So I made some Tatting Tea Tuesday Sweet Insanity... WHAT IS THAT you ask, well follow along and you will see...

You will need a pot...

2- 14 oz cans of sweetened condensed milk

Pour them in the pot and let it get nice and warm

I put in some cinnamon which is optional

Once that is all nice and warm add in

2- 12 oz bags of chocolate chips (I used 1 chocolate and 1 white)

Let that get all nice and melted

Then add in 1- 8oz bag of toffee chips or 1 cup of smashed up Heath Bar

STIR together

NOW add in 1 1/2 - 2 cups of Raisins (or dates or nuts or any kind of nut or dried fruit)

MIX well

add in 2 1/2 cups coconut

MIX

It looks and smells so good now

Using a small Ice Cream scoop or spoon

Place a scoop on some foil (easy clean up)

This recipe yields approx 70 candies

2- 14 oz cans of sweetened condensed milk

2- 12 oz bags of chocolate chips (I used 1 chocolate and 1 white)

1- 8oz bag of toffee chips or 1 cup of smashed up Heath Bar
1 1/2 - 2 cups raising (any dried fruit or nuts will do)
2 1/2 cups coconut

Follow Directions above and ENJOY!!!

Well its Monday (again) after last week feeling like crap today I am feeling somewhat better, still coughing like a nut, sore throat is off and on, stuffed head and nose, my voice is pretty well gone due to my anger with my son last night he lied to me for quite awhile and I yelled well tried to anyways and it hurt my throat further, being sick and tired makes me so cranky... KIDS... I am working away at tatting and the books are getting closer to completion I am getting more excited and I even invested in something to make my books more appealing. you will see that soonish :)

Hubby ordered me to not do anything today hmmmmm that is funny, I am not doing alot but dishes and laundry are top priority as is making supper I am thinking meatball stew, YUMMY!! The sun has been shining here and I LOVE IT!!! there is a little bit of ground showing but only up by the road it may be some time before we see it down by the house my back yard goes almost up to my rear end LOL

I even walked around this morning taking some pictures, I will show a few of my faves like always lol
I managed to see a pair of mountain blue birds which I knew they were around here but never seen them I didnt get a pictures because I was admirinig them they were pretty much above my head and I didnt want to move too quickly and scare them away. This little guy scared me today I heard a weird noise and he jumped off my husbands backhoe arm hit the hood of my coat and ran then he decided that since he scared the heck out of me to pose for the camera lol

Well I am feeling somewhat better, no longer achy or as tired but still drained. I got me a nice cough now and barely a voice, my kiddos are happy lol

I kept Shannan home the last few days she has had a sore throat and congested but no fever, so I thought it best she stay home.

I have been holding out on you all... On Facebook there is a group called TATTING and the owner set forth a challenge of tatting a heart a month so I stepped it up and decided to design a heart a month.

I had Februarys designed for a few weeks BUT wasnt real thrilled with the original so I changed it up a little and perfected it this morning

I got an email the other day from a young girl who loved my tatting designs she told me she was 11 years old, and from Sweeden, I was happy to get that its nice to see younger ones interested in tatting. She told me that I should try tatting that peticular design in silver I am not clear as to which snowflake she had done. But it made me smile.

Then the other day I also got another email from Georgia Seitz, she asked me if I would like to share one of my designs with the online class WOO HOO :) Now to think of somthine to share. WOW! I am so happy I was asked :)

I know there was more I wanted to say but all this coughing I think some of my brains may have fallen out HA HA!!!

...FAIL...

yes I didnt get much tatting done today because I feel like complete crap. Nate had a cough, hubby got a cough with congestion, Now I have it and with my lung issues it usually ends up worse I have been feeling BLAH since Saturday well now I feel HORRIBLY BLAH... I didnt feel too bad this morning when I woke up so I got busy doing some things and chores so I would have time to tat and as the day wore on I started to feel crappier and crappier... I dont take naps unless I am sick well from about 9:30am until around 11:00am i was napping off and on here on my tatting chair cuddled up in a blanket with the dogs.

sadly this is all I got done today, so far

and this happened over the weekend :( I nearly cried these are my favorite shuttles I have i think 4 or 5 of them lol. I told hubby to FIX IT!! he said later... we all usually know what laters turns into, a week or more and "ohhh i forgot" so I too it upon myself to fix them a little super glue is all it took then something happened the darn glue tube popped and super glue EVERYWHERE on my hands UGH!! I had the tube stuck to me as well, WONDERFUL. It took awhile with nail polish remover tweezers and various files to get it off, I even pulled some skin off my fingers but hey the glue is off it felt so weird I told my son when he was being mouth I was gonna stick it on his lips, he didnt like the idea, I told him then I would glue his hand to his bare bum instead. Everyone laughed at that, I wasnt joking I was being serious, he loves to torture his mom well I think its time mom strikes back.... SUPER GLUE... ohhhh the many uses just like duct tape... Yep its the country gal red neck in me talking. Cant you tell I dont feel well i am acting goofy or am I being normal, who knows?

Ok lots to say here mostly griping though lol

It may 'seem' like I am not tatting much but I am :)

I stayed up last night allthough I was a bit tired I was tatting and I was nearly done with what i was working on THIS happened

lets just say as tired as I was I started to tear up and went to bed.

Then today the cutest thing happened Ginger was laying on the floor on top of some blankets we use for sitting on chairs etc... Ned was walking around and seen her laying there all comfy and he was doing what appeared to be digging at the blankets he stopped looked at Ginger and she licked him on the nose :) then he layed down it was too darn adorable I got up and peeked and he covered her up

Then my dryer was done so I got the blankets out and put them on my tatting chair that Ginger claims as her throne went to get a drink and come back and see this

the queen claimed the nice warm and clean blankets as her perch.

We are getting ANOTHER storm with possible high winds of atleast 50 mph... LOVELY!

Its already getting real windy here, its cold.

I am in pain today for 2 reasons

1. last week or week and a half whatever, I was laying in bed on my left side and went to move and heard a crack, for a second i thought it was my shoulder cracking or something then I felt PAIN in my ribs, that side of my ribs always gives me trouble I dont know why it could be the bottom rib bone sticks out weirdly the doctor had told me when I was pregnant with my daughter that it was mis-shapen nothing to worry about, it does over lap at times (my mom has it too) and feels like it goes out of place well I did something to that rib dont know what its still bothering me, with the cold today its not helping AT ALL!!

2. yesterday we had lovely ICE on the porch and stairs well I was taking the doggies out Ned gets tied and Ginger i let her walk and do her thing but I have to go out with her or she wont do her business. I slid from the top step to the bottom (only 4 stairs) and landed on my tail bone, I about cried because when my son was 6 months old (he is almost 10 now) I fell down the stairs and busted up my tail bone so yea it didnt feel too good. I am a mess LOL

Not really things could always be worse. I am alive and breathing, I have my family... I have my tatting friends :)

I can imagine the kids wont have school tomorrow due to the storm and high winds. SEVERE WEATHER is what all the stations are calling it, yep just good ol PA weather lol

If you dont hear from me for a day or so we may loose power (i hope not) with the winds its highly possible.
