*sigh* my day so far...

First off my day usually starts at 4am it did today same as any other day. I got daves lunch packed and his breakfast ready, I burned myself on the toaster. Then I made myself a cup of coffee in the microwave only after I dropped a mug and it shattered all over the floor. Got Dave up. Went to mix my coffee and spilled the sugar all over the table. in my hurry to try and catch it I dumped over one of the kids water bottles and it spilled all over the floor. Dave left I was going to scrub so I was shaking my carpets out and got bitten on the neck by a mosquito or something it hurt. So by then my coffee was real cold and decided to just make another cup well my Microwave went POOF its now dead :( this was all before 6am. Then we take my son up to the bus for camp around 8:30 and here is what we seen it was raining pretty hard and fast for a couple hours... Its still raining....

I was debating if I should drive up it its the river err I mean driveway lol

I also didnt get to talk to my mom for 2 days and today her and dad were going on a little trip and I missed calling again :( I think tatting is in order to cheer me up (I hope) I think today is actually MONDAY and not FRIDAY lol

As I told you Ned loves his momma. Dave says I spoil him too much... I dont think so LOL I was using the needle today He kept wanting to lick it, goofy dog he eventually ended up falling asleep on my legs. hee hee

The weekend...

Saturday my kiddos went to my parents for the night, I needed a break so badly my son is something else lately I just wanna pull my hair out. Saturday David took me to the "gourmet buffet" its a Chinese buffet my favorite. The chandelier in that place was AMAZING it was huge and all crystal I was going to take a picture with my phone but didnt want to feel like a complete dork LOL Next time we go I will have to all dorkyness aside hee hee We celebrated our 11th anniversary too. Our anniversary was really on June 18 but that was the day Shannan got her tonsils out, there was no room for celebrating that day.

I actually done something today... something I have been wanting to do for a few years, and hubby finally said "it would be cool" I got my nose pierced. I know some people dont believe in this but hey if some people can go and get tattoos what is wrong with a piercing? Its not like its in bad taste or anything its just a small one. Its a horrible picture but here is me with it. I like it, Dave calls it a snot catcher (only in fun though) and the kids think I look cool too LOL Maybe its an early mid life crisis who knows but since I was 20 I wanted this it only took me 12.5 years to do it lol

Ok off to do some more "mystery tatting" I did have a clue but silly me I forgot what it was going to be UGH! ohhh wait now I remember hmmm it will be the 5th of something I have done...

I am so glad its Friday... Why you ask well I will tell you! Saturday I do not have to get up at 4am to get Dave ready for work or to get my son ready for his summer camp! Also Saturday my kids are staying at my parents for the night. Today I dyed thread 3 new colorways I will tell you the names. First before I do I am so in the mood for Vanilla Ice Cream???? The colorways are Vanilla Mint, Vanilla Berry and Chocolate Mint Vanilla... LOL Blame my daughter she had the idea for the Vanilla Mint and it just snowballed from there LOL. We are eating fake chinese for lunch now and then I am gonna "possibly" go outside and tat while she plays that is unless it starts to rain. Well I guess that is it for now I am gonna go call my mommy now

My Tatting Domain...

Well Miss Krystledawn well I guess I should say MRS. since she is married LOL is having a BLOG CHALLENGE that is pretty cool :)
She wants us to all show our tatting spaces.


Well I actually have 2 tatting spaces the 1st one with my chair is at my window in the bedroom we got 2 big windows and it lets in alot of light :) the only thing missing is me and of course ned. I bought my chair at Walmart for $19 its the most comfy chair I LOVE IT

the 2nd is here on my bed and you can see Ned is right here he has this mad obsession with my tatting stuff he has slept on my thread as a pillow before and I swear he is part cat because he loves to play with thread balls lol
Here you will see my stash of beads and such plus I have 2 smaller totes under my bed with more beads and odds and ends.
This one is inside my sewing errr tatting box also bought at walmart it holds all my thread I am currently playing with its in bags to mark the sizes LOL

This is on the rack by my bed threads books and shuttles more beads and who knows what else

And this is all my tatting thread as you can see there is Ummmm alot LOL plus what I have in my office closet and in my room LOL

Thursday things and a bit of a funny...

Ok I guess I will start at the beginning of my day. 4am wake up as usual for some reason this morning my butt wasnt dragging as bad as it usually is in the morning anymore. Got hubby up at 4:45 and couldnt find the dog. I was a bit frantic becuase once he sees an open door he is gone and by gone I mean running like a bullet is chasing him. There was a point where he seen a rabbit outside and got up on the window sill and pushed the screen out and was gone. Dave and I were scouring the house checked the kids rooms sometimes he goes to sleep in there, still no Ned :( I was on the verge of tears and I went back into the bedroom and what did I see... Our pillows a mess only to find Ned underneath them all HA HA!! What a dumb dog I was just laying there too I cant believe we didnt hear or smell him. He ususally snores like a chainsaw and farts like an old man. YUK! lol

Next we got my son up to the bus stop for his summer camp, he is really enjoying it and its calming him down ALOT and despite alot of the "stuff" I gotta do for him for this camp it is well worth it. My evenings arent full of stress as much. I had my camera and the sun was barely out its supposed to be a rainy crappy day and it is weather wise. Anyways I got this beautiful picture of my rose blooming...

I plan on teaching my daughter to tat so I told her to read the book first a few times and then we will start she got into it today. I am teaching her needle first because its what I taught myself to do first and I got to thinking I wander how long I been tatting well in November around my birthday it will be 7 years I been tatting. Boy time flys when you are having fun. Included here is my very 1st piece I made when I learned actually the night I learned it was the best think I ever done, and the best Birthday present my hubby ever got me :)

Also I figured out the cause of my DAILY headaches. I wear glasses because my eyes are bad. I have astigmatism, and am near sighted and far sighted, my left eye is the worst and keeps getting worse each eye exam... Well I had gotten new glasses in March. Its usually 1 hour for glasses well it took alot longer I hated the framed I had and I had 30 days to exchange them, so I did and it took them 4 hours to do them because they kept snapping lenses etc... Well the lenses never did fit the frame right they kept popping out at the top they just dont seem right WELL I did find my old glasses and put them on and can you believe I can see better, I know the new prescription is messed up because my right eye has stayed the same and the lens is odd if you have astigmatism you know what I mean things are crooked in a way. the lens is not right and the left one is BAD I had Dave look through them and he noticed a big difference he cant see through them but he said there is definately a difference. No headache today and that makes me Happy!! :) Maybe I will avoid migraines now, maybe not completely but more than I am now. Even tatting today didnt bother my eyes that is ALWAYS a plus :)

I am so ANGRY! I wanna scream!

GRRR! ok I had the plan of the PINK FOR LINK benefit well that fell through, only because that lady told me she had my table on reserve. I sent the money and application over 2 weeks ago and today I got my check back and it said they were booked up. I called her and asked why when she told me I was guaranteed my spot. She had the nerve to tell me well I misplaced your application and check and when I coudlnt find it I had just given it to someone else GRRRR! I told her she could have called me, she told me that she didnt think to do that. UGH! Sooo now I am planning something even bigger and better. The 2 people who offered to make something not to worry it will still be happening just not on October 4 as originally planned.
I wanna cry :( BLAH!

#2 of my 3rd 25 motif challenge and a clue

This is part of the mystery as well. Its the same as the one in this post only with size 30 thread and down scaled, down sized whatever you want to call it. The thread is my hand dyed in Turquoise Violet the size 30 is gone already though... The pattern will NOT be available.......... y e t?! (could this be a clue of some sort?) Of course my beautiful model has claimed it I think it looks absolutely wonderful on her :)

BEAUTIFUL!

We had a storm this evening and then while it was raining the sun came out I looked and no rainbow. I told the kids to look for one and still no rainbow then all of a sudden my daughter squeals "mom a rainbow right there" so I ran out with my camera in the rain thunder and lightening and snapped some pictures it was a HUGE rainbow I couldnt get the whole thing in the view of the camera no matter how far away I got it seemed to grow and grow. I love rainbows but I hate storms LOL

Good Morning Tuesday...

its a crappy kinda dreary day today but that is fine with me it leaves me more time to tat ;) I had ordered new thread to dye 2 weeks ago and its due to arrive Thursday I am so impatient, its size 40 I havent been able to find it around here anywhere and the place I normally get my thread didnt have it either. I cant wait I did buy some size 40 Natural thread at walmart but its a beige color and super soft kind of harder to tat with, probably because its natural... Nathaniel likes his summer camp but cried today because they are to go swimming and he dosent know how they know this and will nto make him go deep but he is nervous about about it. Makes for a rougher day for me when he does this I am worried now, once he gets home we have to run up to ACRP for his therapist appointment so I probably wont be home til about 6. Tomorrow Shannan and I are heading to the lake she wants to play in the water too so I told her I would take her maybe I can sit and tat and relax a bit.
Well off to do some cleaning and stuff and then of course tat :)

That something awesome I spoke of....

That something awesome did turn out pretty awesome. Yes awesome is my word of the day, dunno why but it just is. I got my pressure cooker, cooking roast and it smells awesome too LOL

OK alot of my images on here and stuff I love to mess with PSP 7 (paint shop pro 7) years ago i had gotten a copy and was severely addicted this was before I learned to tat of course so its been a "few" years... Ok on to what I am speaking of... I love to kaleidascope images and one day messing about I had an image of tatting up and thought ehhhh what the heck, and you will not beleive HOW MANY ideas i got from just doing that with 1 photo. Well here is one of them.

I used my new HDT HARVEST TIME in size 20 when I dyed this thread I wasnt that impressed with it until I tatted with it I think it is just AWESOME hee hee

I plan on making more of this design and maybe putting them together for a doily or something else. this is my #1 motif of the 25 motif challenge (part 3)

Good Morning ~Monday blabbering

Well good morning tatters and anyone else who stumbles upon my bloggy blog. I am working on something right now I *think* its gonna be awesome THINK being the key word here. Hubby is at work I am waiting for the kids to get up. While I am tatting this morning my eyes want to shut so I thought I would say hi to you all thinking that MAY wake me up some but so far NO! Today my son starts STP camp (summer treatment program camp) I am really hoping it helps to calm him down some. He is excited and nervous but that is normal. Shannan and I are going to get some much needed mother / daughter time together I even told her I would start teaching her to tat, with the needle first that is how I taught myself and find it much easier than the shuttle. Like someone told me it dosent matter what you use its still tatting, just a matter of preference. Its supposed to be stormy here today, I absolutely hate thunder, I can imagine that is what it will be doing. We had a storm last weekend and lightening hit one of our trees it hit real close I figured something happened. I am having a contest of some sort, who knows what will become of it. I will be making a repost of it here in a bit with some rules (i guess) lol

Pardon the pun in this post, I love to goof off and my daughter and I were being silly and once I came to a realization we both just laughed our butts off hee hee
I dyed thread today I made a dye batch of "pink for link" thread. and then 4 other dye batches and out of those 4 only 1 didn't have BROWN now kids being kids Shannan said something about poop. We laughed and then I said well I must be in a "crappy" mood that is why I used so much BROWN LOL Ahhhhhh its been a day here ROFL!!!

Lookie what came in the mail today...

I have been wanting something to wind my big skeins of hdt and the bigger size 3 cord without having to wind it on cardboard which can be a big pain in the you know what ;) So I was browing online one day and found a neat thread winder and where everyone else was charging $44 - $50 I found the same one for $20 with shipping and stuff it came to $22.98 I got it today and I LOVE IT!!! So do the kids and Dave they all have to play with it LOL It cuts the winding time in 1/2 now it dosent really work that well for anything smaller than size 10 but for yarns and cording its awesome :)

What is it about helping, that makes you feel so good?

Tracy the girl whom has breast cancer is having a benefit on July 18 (Saturday) I will not be going, its at a bar, hubby wont go. Its ok though, they are having a Chinese Auction and I offered to make some jewelry sets I need to get on the ball here this morning I wanted to wake up a bit more before I decide to tat I dont want to mess up. I got my thread soaking in preparation to dye later I am so excited as you see I have no life LOL
I feel so good to be able to help Tracy out even if its a little bit :) I cant believe my husband is behind me 100% for what I am doing...

We picked up our tshirts today the kids both had to change in the car today it was so funny.

and these are the chairs i got I had to go and get Dave one today becayse he threatened to steal mine. NO it is my tatting chair lol

What a Wednesday...

Tuesday night my husband made me really angry. Long story short he pretty much told me that I do NOTHING through the day... hmmmm... Yes my house is not spotless I have a 9 year old a 10 year old and a dog running around. The kids toys are everywhere at times. Our bedroom was in the process of sorting through older clothing and stuff, so it was a bit of a mess. Well that made me mad, so Tuesday evening I started in the kitchen worked my way to the family room and then to the living room and dining room. Got that red up and then on to the kids rooms they both needed their carpeting scrubbed so I did that. After that is was 9pm and I had it for the night we all went to bed. Got up Wednesday and made the kids get up at 5:30 with me to help in my bedroom well by 10am I had a bag of shoes and 3 bags of clothes along with the kids shoes and clothes we ended up taking 7 bags to good will. My car was so packed I had a bag in the front seat as well lol... I treated the kids out for thier wonderful help mostly Shannan helped me Nate took about an hour and a half to pick up about a 1 ft square of trash which really there wasnt much there. That kid sometimes just makes me wanna pull my hair out. We got home and finished my bedroom while the kids picked up their toys I managed to get my room DONE and it looks awesome I moved everything around My back is so sore today but it was worth is I even yesterday bought me a "Tatting Chair" I will have to show a picture of it later on I am too lazy and tired to get off my butt to get my camera lol Today I need to go and pick up my "pink for link" tshirts I cant wait to get them...
Well I am off for now I got a tatting idea in my head since Monday and I really must get it figured out lol

*NEW THREADS* in smaller skeins
