UPDATE (nates appt, some repeating and griping)

I will be reapeating some that those of you who read already know...

Last week I had Shannans appointment, she does need her tonsils and adenoids out, so we got pre op appt on June 16, surgery June 18 (dave and I's 11th anniversary), post op June 26 then hopefully that is done with... I am really worried about this because its her first surgery and I am scared and need to be strong for her but feel I will break down when they put her out, or before. Dave wont be with me because he has to work, Nate will be with my mom, She is to stay overnight at the hospital. I will be staying with her though.

Last week I also had Dave home from work 3 days, the doctor changed his anxeity medicine and had the reverse effect, it was so scary for me, I was worried but he is back on track now. He has a glaucoma test on June 12, he is not thrilled about it so I got him complaining about that...

Now Nathaniel had his testing yesterday, he does have ADHD, and some of the other stuff he is doing is behavoural problems, which the doctor said could be because of the ADHD so he suggested having Nate talk to a psychologist. Some people I know are pretty much blaming me for my sons condition, hmmmm to me it dosent make sense ADHD is a NEUROLOGICAL DISORDER... Yes my son will be on medicine to help him calm down some, in my opinion he needs it I have been putting up with this for 2 years with him and I am really really wore out. I am getting alot of crap from those who are blaming me because of him needing the medicine, basically I shouldnt medicate him, I have tried everything to fix this myself and the doctor was my last resort. I am getting his appointment with the Psychologist, just need to wait for them to call me back.

I have so much going on I really wish I had a few days just to be alone, I havent tatted and really cant get myself in the mood lately :(::.. . My dear friends are going through things right now too, so I am trying to not bother them with my non-sense at the moment...

I decided this morning I had it with my kids bedrooms they are a mess and by a mess I mean you cant see the floor, everything is piled up and I got angry... They were to bring me some of their clothes on their floor to wash, dirty or not, they each brought out maybe an armful, I was mad so after they went to school I did a few things here and, dove into my daughters room OMG what a nightmare... I got alot done, and should head back there soon after I eat. Next will be Nates room. *sigh* its never ends...I just need to keep calm and just tell myself that things will get better. I need certain people in my life to be supportive, but they are the ones placing blame on me, it is really exhausting trying to please everyone.

I wish I could have the "i dont care" attitude but those of you who know me well know I just cant do that... Never could

But that is the short version on what is up with me and wander why I am having my moments of drama. I dont have a pity me attitude and I really hate drama but sometimes it just comes out LOL

Need to Complain

Well first off I still feel like crap, it dosent seem like a cold but not like a sinus infection, I dont know, but I do know one thing IT NEEDS TO LEAVE ME!!

Next, last night I was on the computer here and it was acting up a bit and of course like a dip stick I shut it off which from past experience doing that knows it never turns out well... I lost everything, CRASH went the computer I am so so so mad but, those sort of things can be replaced i guess, all my patterns are gone so I gotta go find all them again :(

I am working on a piece of tatting that I could get finished today if I stay motivated in that area. I am not doing alot today I think that is my problem, I need to rest a bit. I did go for a little walk and took some pictures and I should have realized walking through the woods in capri pants isnt all that good I got lots of scratches and some I need to dig the little jaggys out LOL but it was fun...

Well I am gonna dig in my leg and then tat. LOL

Trying to refrain...

I did make a vow to *NOT* use my tatting needles and to stick to the shuttle... Lately I been wanting to use my needles. Well truthfully its a bit faster than the shuttle and I am more comfortable with the needles because its what I taught myself with. The shuttles are going well for me, I learned alot of new techniques, and I doubt I will be using my needles though I think they are mia plus I am not going to look for them because of temptation lol
But I will be good or atleast try my hardest to...

motif #13

Well since I am putting myself on partial bed rest (ha ha right) I decided between 4 batches of no bake cookies, dishes, laundry, putting the dog out, and taking pictures I would finish up this mini "test" motif I had started a few weeks ago...

This motif I had thought about doing this, but really wasnt sure I could with the ring and chain one color and the next a different color. It took a little thinking on my part only a little and I got it, my daughter when she had strep picked the color combination I told her she could have the little thing i make for one of her dolls. This was a test for something bigger I am making this way. So I am not posting my pattern at the moment until the bigger and better thing is done.

Update on life...

I had rescheduled my sons appointment to this wednesday because the school was doing their evaluation on him. I ended up with a cold or something I wasnt too bad Friday or Saturday but today DANG I am wiped out bad tired, crappy feeling like my head is in a balloon, stuffy as heck. I havent picked up my tatting I really want and need to but havent.. Its so hot today, unbearably hot, especially when not feeling well I am a bit unpleasent... Dave put in our AC in our bedroom now I am comfortable now if my stuffed up head would go away I would be happy... Dont know or remember if I mentioned it but I got a new camera I am so so happy with it Its not the one I wanted but I am glad with my purchase... Dave bought me a new case for it too Its big and I can take both cameras and batteries with me and I can even fit some tatting into the case too if I am out with the playing and decide to to tat :)
I think that is all I cant function properly right now maybe tomorrow will be alot better

Shannan's appointment today...

went well... I guess...
I found out what I already knew she needs her tonsils out :(... I know its not a major deal but to me it is... I just hate to see anything happening to my kids, she is now 10 and still I want to cry when she gets a shot, she does it like its not a big deal though... It will be done on June 18, Dave and I's anniversary of course LOL she will have to stay the night and I am going to stay with her. She would probably be scared alone in a hospital and I would not sleep here AT ALL knowing she was that far away approx 30 miles from me... The doctor was really nice and I was pleased with him.

Thursday I am getting Nate tested for ADHD in a way I hope that is his problem I cant take much more of what that boy is putting me through, I planned on tatting all this week but havent even picked up my shuttles :( they are probably mad at me and I will get a poke in the finger when I try to use them LOL... I will update on that appointment Thursday...

Just too much going on this week I am on STRESS OVERLOAD!!!! Ahhhhhhhh!!

Motif #12

Here is motif #12... A necklace (choker) for one of my best friends her Birthday was Wednesday but with work I didnt get it finished in time... I actually just got back home from mailing it a bit ago...

The pattern is so simple. its basically one huge chain.

You will need shuttle and ball do not cut the thread I used a size 3 thread in copper which matches the bead thing in the center.

CH: 10-8+(p)

Repeat CH 8 more times

CH: 50 cl

Cut Tie Hide ends...

Repeat for the other side, you can add clasps if you wish but mine is able to be tied and also when using smaller thread be sure to add more stitches.

Its not every day you see this...

Its a green eyed dog with pink spots...LOL

Yesterday was my daughters 10th birthday "sniffle" and she wanted a dog drawn on her cake, it resembles a dog anyways lol but I thought i would be creative with the colors, the only reason for that is when I was at the grocery store yesterday I seen those sugar sprinkles and they now have flavored ones the green is green apple and the pink is watermelon they are good :) She loved her cake and that made me happy but I really wish she would stop having birthdays I told her that it was her last one she just laughed at her crazy mom :)

Tax Season in over YAY!! woo hoo!! YIPPIE!!!

I am not at all excited that its over, am I?? lol
this means I am done working for now, thank goodness... Now I will have time to tat and take pictures. Friday I am heading out to the lake to take pictures and I may even take my tatting with me... I am glad to be back!!!!!
Now I will have some peace at home :)

Man I dont know where to start I also have Sherrys Butterfly book... Man ohhhh man where to begin? I also want to start dying thread again too.

Just wanted to wish you all a very happy easter!
Today was our little celebration with my husbands mother and tonight Easter Bunny comes, and tomorrow we go to my parents for easter!
Dave and I got the kids kites and today was a perfectly windy day they had a blast and ummmm so did the 32 year old child ;) and we got them BOLT the movie I cant wait to see it :)

my daughter

still has a very sore throat... I feel so badly for her allthough she is eating a BIT better today, she has swollen glands BAD she is so swollen from under her ears to her chin, it looks horrible and is so noticable, I just want to cry... I had to call off work again today and got a bit of upset-ness (if that is even a word) atleast it felt like it. I feel guilty not going in but I have no one to watch her and she is sick I dont think running her around is a good thing, she still has a bit of a fever today but not like it was. She is sitting here playing with the dog and eating apples. I hate when the kids are sick its the worst feelign in the world that you cant take it away...
I did finish up a little something and will post here in a bit.

Happy Tatting Day

WOW its so neat we have our own day!! I wander though, since moms get gifts on mothers day and dads get gifts on fathers day etc... if tatters should get gifts on Tatting Day LOL maybe I should run this idea across my husband hee hee
I plan on finishing up another WIP and start on a few things I just ordered Martha Ess' new book found HERE I sooooo cant wait to get it in the mail and just the other day I recieved Linda S Davies books on disc I am so excited to start with these also but i am gonna *TRY* to finish what I have started here now LOL but we all know how that goes ;)
Well I got about 1/2 hour til the kids are up for school. so I may enjoy my chocolate coffee and tatting for a bit after all its international tatting day :)
