A day maybe 2 to tat

I cant say that the reason I have these days off makes me happy, my daughter had a sore throat yesterday and I decided to take her in to see the doctor this morning, she may have strep throat :( she is eating fine and not much of a fever but watching her face when she swallows makes me sad... Years ago he had told me about her tonsils, he said they are much bigger now and may need them out so on the 21st I gotta take her to a specialist to see for sure. I know its nothing major BUT I still cry when they get shots and she will be 10 next month and my son will be 9 in June. If she does need them out in my opinion it will be better not as many sore throats.
I joked with her and said "thanks for being sick so I can tat" she smiled and laughed at me, she knows her mom is nuts LOL She wanted Dairy Queen for lunch she had her chicken stirps and fries, and of course her free ice cream cone, she loved that.
Right now she is napping and I may just sit and tat for awhile, depending on how her throat feels tomorrow I will either send her or keep her home another day.

Its a little dragonfly probably the 1st I designed I have made so many things I dont remember LOL

2 1/2 - 3 weeks.... and an update on life...

That is about all I have left to work, I cant believe it is almost over. This year I cant say that I am sad it will be over. Its been a rough one for me... Next year will be better :). I SOOOOOOOO cant wait to be able to tat I got so many ideas rolling around in my pea brain LOL I am working on 1 thing and hope to get my other works in progress finished up too, plus all the beads I bought are calling to me to be made into some awesome jewelry.
I cant wait to get back into my photography too. I really miss just taking a walk and snapping pictures, my dog Brucie loves to walk with me he is so good once we get off the road and in the woods he can run without the leash he is so good and its nice to have a walking buddy. I plan on getting back on track with my diet, I gained a bit of weight over tax season but it comes from snacking at my desk. I have started the special K plan, its not really hard to stick with and it involves my favorites waffles, fruit and cereal :). I really hope I can stick with it this time, I usually get upset and let my emotions get the better of me, (i eat when stressed or upset)

On a bit of a sadder note well sad for me anyways, there will be no wedding. Each time I mention it Dave scowls at me and I told him to tell me why he keeps doing that. He replied with "I think you know" I did know but wanted to hear it from him. He dosent want to :( To avoid the hassle I just said fine, we wont have it. So there went my beautiful little wedding, my dress, the girls dresses etc.. everything I was going to make. This is one thing that I will always be hurt about with him. I just dont understand it, but hey I should have known with past experience on this subject. I knew I shouldnt have bought the patterns and started planning a few things. :(::.. Dave told me to make my dress anyways, I see no point. So I have a pretty engagement ring with no wedding, it sucks but I will deal with it. My kids are being little monsters right now too, its all making me crazier than I already am. I feel all this stuff is MY fault, I know its not, I just gotta keep telling myself this...

There was my sob story HA HA! I cant wait to start tatting again and walking and taking pictures. I want to get out to the lake too, the geese are coming in, a friend of mine was out there over the weekend and she said she seen quite a few. That is another thing I havent seen my dear friend for ever we so need to get our schedules back in order.

more goodies

We made a trip to Altoona today. Mainly to go to Lowes for my husband, but the first stop was Lenscrafters to exchange my frames from my new glasses, it ususally took an hour but it was more like 3 they kept snapping lenses and mine arent thin so I dont know what they were doing. My sons glasses came in too and I hope he dosent lose and destroy these ones, that kid is such a little terrorist LOL. Needless to say and I feel badly we didnt make it to lowes it was on the other side of Altoona and spending all those hours in the mall took it out of us, the kids loved it and I think my daughter will soon be BEGGING to go to the mall and shop Ahhhhh!!! lol BUT we went to Kitchen Collections and he got me an egg omlet maker / poacher thing, I love it but I really think he got it so I can make him real omlets LOL and then we went to AC Moore, I wasnt planning on spending ALOT of money and I didnt, but I found some neat clearanced items... mostly beads and a pack of rayon thread, the colors just popped out at me so of course I HAD to buy it LOL

I didnt get to tat today AGAIN hopefully I can here soon the kids are finally winding down, its after 6 and I am beat but I got a nice little pile of movies accumulated I need to watch, of course the teenager in me LOL got her twilight movie that may have to be watched tonight LOL but I also have Role Models and Night in Rodanthe and of course the first 3 seasons of Supernatural to watch as well!!! Ohhh decisions, decisions lol

I found the wire thing at michaels with the beads there were about 6 on a strand.

Motif #9 is a fan I made as a custom order from my etsy the lady wanted dark pink and black and I think it looks so NEAT together. The pattern for my fan can be found HERE

The things you find while cleaning...

I am off today so I thought I should clean up my corner here in my bedroom. I have my tatting here because I usually do it in the evening while hubby and I are watching tv. I had a BIG pile of junk, paper, tatting, tatting books, patterns etc...... As I was cleaning I found all of these....

SPOILED...who me??

Yes hubby has spoiled me AGAIN! Today was his birthday, he got money for his birthday, so he decided to buy me a printer/scanner/copier, I needed a new scanner and a new printer... I really didnt want him to get it because it was his birthday money. I love it it works better than my old one ever did even when it was new, I just sat here and figured my old printer scanner and computer are about 9 years old. I guess I was about due for another.

Daves sister came in and treated us to Applebees, I felt really bad my stomach was not in the mood to eat, I think it was the monster headache I had gotten I barely ate my lunch but after the nauseating ride home and some tylenol and a bit of a rest I was fine, so we went to walmart then.

David and I had our eye appointments today my eyes got worse :( i hate it but hey whatever lol it was to be the 1 hour thing BUT the machine was down so we left without our glasses which makes me a bit upset because it is about 25 miles from my house to lenscrafters, but there is the next weekend I guess... I didnt get the one pair of frames I wanted really badly because I was to wait 2 weeks I probably could have gotten it, I should have... ohhh well there is next time I really like my new frames they are alot smaller than the rectangular ones i got now and its a lot lighter of a color. I cant wait to get them maybe that will mean less headaches :)

finally finished a small butterfly but unfortunately my camera is out in my truck and I am too tired to go and get it lol
I am gonna start something small I think for now and see how long it takes me to fall asleep tonight lol

Well I went into work yesterday, had a BAD day we will just leave it at that... plus my truck decided to be bad again the water pump went :( I really hate this luck we been having. I am not going in to work today, I feel better but with no vehicle I am not walking today its just too cold or I may consider it, and personal reasons and the kicker I lost my voice its gone, the kids are probably happy I cant yell at them LOL
I plan to tat today and hopefully get a few thigns done... I am not overdoing it, I feel alot better than I was and dont need to make myself worse by doing alot of cleaning and stuff like crazy... Tomorrow is my husbands birthday, we are going to get new glasses tomorrow too and his sister is meeting us at Applebees to treat him out for his birthday, it will be nice the kids will be at my moms so we will have a nice evening together.
I still havent gotten him anything for his birthday, I have no clue on what to get him... I will figure something out :)
Well I am off to get my monsters ready for school

Good Morning

Thought I would pop in for a small update. I went to the doctor yesterday my lungs are inflamed, that explains the coughing like an idiot. I got me some medicine but I think the antibiotic is making me feel sick. I am so tired too, I really dont know if I will make it into work today, I hope so but if I am like this, no. I havent been able to tat lately either by the time I get home its making supper, homework, dishes, etc... I miss my tatting. Yesterday at work I found out that a lady tried to learn to tat years ago, I made the joke of starting a tatting class and she was happy to hear that, hmmmmm that makes 2 gals at my office who want to learn tatting :) I may have to hold the class :-).
Well I am off right now. Ohh yea I changed the pattern for the girls dresses for the wedding and I also got the fabric swatches too and picked the colors but mine may change it all depends on if I find something else I like better...
